how to disable asking to recycle or perm delete confirmation window.
uhg, is me or is mix going garbage?
@HootanParsaSure i agree mix the most powerfull. I used in windows treesize.. I dont want it to become Es File Explorer a totally ruined app. But i consider that as file manager it should have a way to analyze a folder. FX explorer also have this. But none is powerful enough as mix
Although not MiX specific, your language implies you have this same issue with other apps outside of MiX. I know in a lot of ROMs I have used, they have adjustments for touch sensitivity or such. Maybe checking your device settings or on a device specific thread or a targetted web search, you may find a method to reduce its propensity to be so slide sensitive.is there a way to disable sliding to the next tab of the background? When you or other users try to share your suggestions or ideas, forget the other apps like they don't exist. If there are information YOU really need and MiX doesn't provide or it's not convenient to use, please explain your thoughts. I will think and work on them.
I see. I can't login myself and unfortunately I still couldn't find information about it.See attachment
Hootan, please I do not think we are speaking about animations or whatsoever. You are right that the comparison with others filemanagers could be unpleasant especially for the developer itself but sometimes is the fastest way to give an example about what you are speaking or suggesting...When you or other users try to share your suggestions or ideas, forget the other apps like they don't exist. If you want a feature named 'Analyze' with some animation to tell you which files are small or big, I don't think it's necessary. You can open the 'All files' bookmark and sort the list by size. MiX also has a powerful search engine. If there is any problem with that feature, please let me know.
OK thenI see. I can't login myself and unfortunately I still couldn't find information about it.
The new builds are uploaded as stable. If there is a new problem, please let me know. Thank you.
I personally use a seperate app with its own features and UI that has specifically been built from the ground up to Analyse space useage. It wiould take a number of years for MiX to catch up with the feature set of this specific app, and by that time, it would of moved on even further. There are many on the playstore, and my current one is very graphical and interactive. Yes I understand some prefer the single app to do everything, but I personally prefer a small number of apps that do very specific things, and analysis of space used is something I prefer to see and only use rarely, from another targetted app. Before MiX I was using another file manager that had the feature built into it, and I still preferred and used the specific app for space analysis, and it did not really fit in with the UI of a file manager. i.e. thne space analysis was unused bloat for me. on that other FM. Just my personal preference and experience....snip...
To my point of view about Anayze feature mix already have a basic informations (How many folders and files contains a directory) in the property dialog, but having information about the folders that are bigger and contains more files inside, within that directory, is something that could be useful for various purposes (as cleaning tool info too for example) and using all files bookmark and sorting it by size does not give that information...
Also having a chance to see how the whole storage or directory is partitioned/mapped by file types or genres (audio, video, archives, etc...) in a graphic way is something I find useful...
These are my thoughts and my personal opinion just to share it with you as always.
I appreciate your different point of view and your polite reply. Considering different opinions and compare them with your own always helps. Yes, I choose to mainly use Mix among others filemanagers because of its peculiarities as a full featured file manager. I like to have a single tool for all my basic needs, but your choice to use more tools is right also for you and your needs.I personally use a seperate app with its own features and UI that has specifically been built from the ground up to Analyse space useage. Thank you. Try the latest build in the second post, if it's possible on Chrome OS and tell me the result.I posted this question earlier in the FAQ Thread, but IronTechmonkey requested to post it in this Thread because 'I got an actual issue'.
When I open MiXplorer on my Chromebook, everytime I get the message 'Attention: Please select SD card: /storage/MyFiles to gain permission'
My Chromebook has no SD card only an internal memory. How do I change the path? I can change the name but not the path. When I delete the bookmark. A new bookmark is created and get the above message again.
In the installation manual it says:
'- Navigate to external SD and create a new folder. There should a prompt "Attention Please select Ext SD... to gain permissions". Note: In some situations you may not have to create a folder to invoke this prompt.'
But like I said, I can't change the path of /storage/MyFiles
Enclosed you will find the log file. Hope this helps to solve the problem.
IronTechmonkey mentioned the strange Volume names in the LOG file. Maybe this is because the Android is baked into the ChromeOS system?

For the most of us there is no doubt that we are totally supporting Mix development and the developer itself and the prove is that we are always here since years for giving feedback and reporting issues because Mix is the only filemanager we are currently using daily.

Yes, this is really great and useful. I always ask to me to not be to much demanding but then I know you cannot misunderstand my requests as annoying claims...and choosing between suggesting something or avoid to made it I always decide for the first option.Install the latest BETA, go to the target and search recursively for Type: 'Folder'.
One of my guesses was because of the pandemic there are some reviewers at home with pajama who have contract with Google to review the apps but they're not doing their job professionally. Is there anything we can do to help?
(Online petition? Paper letters accusing Google of colluding with pirates?)

Not really, because they don't need to upload then wait to review their own app. Of course majority of the free and paid apps can be downloaded from those websites but the worse is that people can download a paid app for free before it gets published. Maybe that build is not even supposed to be published. If someone could guess the number of one of their own apps (such as youtube), they would possibly be a little more concerned.
It's the Size bar.I updated MiXplorer to the latest version (v6.54.5). At the Recent file tab, some mysterious square dots after each row appeared (at all view modes except Grid and Gallery). Is this a bug? Please remove them.
