[APP][2.2+] MiXplorer v6.x Released (fully-featured file manager)

Saw this post, did some testing using 6.53.0 B21030510. Some observations:

1)Files and folders were indeed moved/deleted
2) The operation overwrites exist files with same name, but Different Content, *without* prompt

I post this both, as a warning to others, and as a request to @HootanParsa to implement a prompt similar to the one that already exists when copying/moving files to a location where a file of the same name already exists.

I'll definitely use this, if ever, with caution. For now I'll just hide it, and, hopefully, remember I can use this in the future.

@HootanParsa Is it possible to add the icon ( with an storage icon at corner ) of the Document provider app when added to the sidebar. Also my phone has Spanish as language and I override the language to English in Mix settings. The sidebar still in Spanish.

Tap on bookmarks menu > Reset Defaults.

Can someone check the Internal storage and extSdcard storage size value in both left drawer and home? To me, compare the two sizes gives a wrong value in Home. I have checked "more detail" and "live counting" in view options but Mix shows always different (wrong) value in Home compared to that from the left drawer...

I've just updated mixplorer from v 6.51.6 to v 6.53.0 & I get a weird issue with v 6.53.0. This version creates some tapable white spaces that lead to my files, image, audio, video, etc on my android system file picker. In v 6.51.6, I don't get this issue. This issue is reproducible on some apps that uses system file picker such as gmail, gdrive and stock e-mail.
I'm on xperia m4, stock android 6.0.1

Specifically, Access & Change dates, as well as the less useful (at least to me) Inode & links. I am guessing the Blocks & IO Blocks map to the Size, Used and Effective

So I guess its a feature request for Access & change date/times to be added.

@HootanParsa I have been using your MiXplorer free version for quite some time for my google drive login and it's been working perfectly. I recently switched to MiXplorer Silver version 6.52.4 and every time i try to use google drive login, even though i choose "external login=no" it asks me to continue the login process in browser where in ultimately after agreeing to all the terms, it ends up in "This site can't be reached". I am on Android 11 on my Tab S7+

Yes I have root and.. great! With your suggested way I can reach the folder as well! (I'm doing it with last stable MiX version)

@mrkarim How do you set the app symbol decoration for a folder?
Looking at your screenshots I would love to do the same.

It's a nice feature like ES File Explorer.

I faced a minor UI issue.
Folders with very long names (like app folders at /data/app) aren't visible in the breadcrumb.

This is a Mixplorer folder and it's visible in the breadcrumb:

And this is a Mixplorer beta folder (which has a bit longer name) and it's invisible in the breadcrumb:

This happens to all folders which have very long names.

That option has been checked. I tried turning it on and off several times just in case. But the app icon decoration in the /sdcard/android/data/ ** app ** folder didn't work.After some trial and error, I found that the app icon does not work in the display mode [wrapped]. And the same is true for [Cmpact] and [minimal].

I decided to take this opportunity to switch from [wrapped] to [Detaied]. I wanted to notice this sooner! (Maybe this is a bug?)

Anyway, thank you for your important suggestions!
I'm enjoying icon decoration now!

In the properties window of a folder if the name is long, it has three dots somewhere in the middle. Looks like the name is shortened or something like that:

The issue with this is when I tap on the path to copy and paste it in the text editor, the three dots are also copied and pasted:

This does not happen when I copy and paste "Content URI"

+1. I was working on a FAQ nugget for the new drive details search bookmark and since this was similar I took a look. To your point; what is reported in Home seems different from what is reported in bookmark and in OS. In one case the bookmark seems inaccurate as well. Here is what I saw on 2 devices, both with live counting and more details enabled, external SD cards formatted FAT32 with no other partitions or unallocated space.

Is the OS hiding something from MiX?

Long names are just OK now.

Total-Free storage capacity in the left drawer is from the system.
What you have in Home folder is total size and count of the registered files in Android media store.
The 'Live counting' and 'Properties dialog' show the total size and count of all files/folders for a folder.
'More details' shows total size and count of the registered files in Android media store for a folder.

I mean when I enable hotspot on my device and start ftp server I got either
ftp:192.168.43.1:2121
This occurs if I use stock rom of device like samsung and oppo and xiaomi roms

But if I use custom rom like.lineage os or msm xtended or havoc os or any other rom
The ftp server is changeable everytime I start ftp server in mixplorer like in screenshot

I mean why ftp server is fixed with certain address in stock roms and changeable every time on custom roms ??

For me it is better to be fixed to not to have to enter address on other device everytime I start server

Can you help and explaim to me cause of this changeable ftp server ??
And if there is a way to make it fixed ??

Probably some roms use dhcp and others static ip.
