In the latest beta B21112920:That was my understanding, that MiXplorer would effectively ignore the working folder and present the root of server device /8access level) rather than the working directory. I may have previously described this as the distinction between access level and working directory which is visible in Filezilla..
If there turns out to be some restriction in that regard so be it. Anything you could do to restore the functionality described in an edit mention of you in previous post would be great, but even if there are some restrictions the new server set up does offer greater functionality and has been engaging to play with. Thanks.
The more you use it, the more you'll learn to love it. I highly advise checking out the FAQ/User Manual here:
In the latest beta B21112920:
- If Home and Current folder are empty, the current folder will be primary storage unless the app is opened and current folder is available on server. And Home will be the root of the current folder.
- If Current folder is empty and Home is not, the current folder will be Home unless the current folder on server is available and it is inside Home directory, the Home will be changed to the root of that folder.
- If Home is empty and Current folder is not, Home will be the root of the current folder. But the current folder in client will be the same as the current folder on server if it's available.
* So you enter 'Home' to limit the user. And 'Current folder' for default startup folder.
Sounds confusing but it makes sense to me right now. I hope I didn't make any mistake.
Tap on VIEW in bottom toolbar > Options > Disable 'Auto folder preview'.
Hi,Hey guys, do you know if there's a way to mount/unmount EncFS folder and copy/move files to it through shell/terminal?
I'm trying to setup some specific directories' files, when created, automatically be moved to EncFS folder but not having much success.
Best thing I found so far is through tasker 'Send intent' but it's buggy. link
In tasker, it detects directory file change through 'File Modified' event then it copies files once correctly, then tasker doesn't recognise file change in directory after that. I have to manually run the task and also folder structure goes from path/source_folder/files to path/destination_folder/source_folder/files the first time and path/src/files to path/dest/src (2)/files the second etc instead of path/files. And I've no idea if it's tasker or MiX issue.
The sme task with 'Normal' folders works fine. So I thought I'd ask, maybe someone knows how to do that through shell? Cheers!
Thank you. Try the new beta and tell me the result.Hi, @HootanParsa
On A11 I faced an issue with the backup tool.
After backing up, the .mib file doesn't contain the app data folder, instead there is an empty file with the same name. No "ext" folder.
Here's a screen of a .mib archive, which I made on A9:
View attachment 5471831
And this one on A11:
View attachment 5471833
Mix on A11 does have access to /data/data folder.
By the way Mix on A11 perfectly restored apps which I backed up on A9.
Log file is in attachment.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for replying Awesome software btw, I was so sure of solid it took me that long to find out about it heh.
It seems Android 11 doesn't allow ':' in filenames. Try the new beta. It will extract the zip file in system cache folder.

Do you know how I to assign this parameter when I don't have a 4th 'extra' field? Like task: move, mode: OVERWITE_MODIFIED or something?
Also I forgot to say MiXplorer fails to see/display the SOURCE folder after the first task run (UI talking). If I try to create it creates a SOURCE (1) folder. I'm not what else other than a phone reboot fixes that.
edit: jesus christ I managed to lock myself out of my EncFS folder with a simple enough password to remember. Probably entered correctly twice on creating. Nothing too important in it yet though thank god. Hah
edit2: In response to 'edit': in the case of locked EncFS folder, aren't you supposed to have an encfs*.xml file somewhere? Is this a different encryption method?
Ah, it was hidden but for whatever reason ls -la on termux wouldn't show it. I'm going to get my password first and see how overwrite mode works then. ThanksSearch the FAQ:

encfs*.xml is inside the EncFS folder.
@EuK_V Try the new BETA. The Text Editor should be safe with DirectLink, if it's supported based on the system and file size otherwise it will give you an error and will exit.Try the new BETA. With DirectLink option, you can use many apps, for editable files but it's experimental. Be careful and don't use Text editor with Direct link. Built-in Text Editor is not a normal editor. It loads part of the files based on their size, unless your file is very small. It can damage your file in some situations.
