Hi guys, i have configured on my debian server vsftpd to send me to a certain folder using ftps with port 21, however when i enter the data here on mixplorer i can connect but it sends me to the / folder instead of the folder set by on vsftpd.
I tested with samsung file manager and it works fine (sends me to the established folder).
Do you know why?

These things might not obviously speak to the situation but may be worth checking out:

- Confirm that you can ping or otherwise access the FTP server by the same server name or IP address from the bookmark.
- Make sure you've properly appended the port # to the server name/IP address. EG

FTP(ES/S)://IPADDRESS:PORT

- Try setting the port in the advanced settings. Note this parameter is new so I'm not sure how it is supposed to work.
- Try changing prefix to ftps or ftpes.
- Make sure that the TLS/SSL and implicit/Explicit settings on the server match the advanced bookmark setting. IIRC TLS with Explicit is default.

Is there gonna be a UI scale option in the future? Because the UI elements on the app itself are too small for me

I am guessing you are talking about the icons etc, which do not scale with the contents, using a pinch to zoom.This setting is normally controlled by the OS/system wide and not individual apps. That way ALL apps are of a size that you find usable. On my7 ph9ne its under settings>Display>display Size. There are also changes you can make to the DPI of your device.

#bug_report_ I use Koofr as webdav and in that I have a html file. I tried to open it as temp file and direct link and even i downloaded it. But it didn't show the content(all white screen), even with system(samsung) html viewer.
Feature request: add koofr as storage
and add Seedr.cc as storage

As to the lack of TLS SSL setting (I assume you are referring to the MiXplorer bookmark) typically if the server is set for explicit than the client determines secure or not by which prefix is used so there is no specific toggle setting for TLS/SSL in the bookmark There's a bit more of a description about that in one of the MiX Nuggets (indexed FAQ posts). In any event that should not impact the path which the client sees upon connecting through the MiXplorer bookmark. Weird. Wait and see what the developer has to say.

Do you know if there is an option like on FileZilla to determine the default remote folder via SFTP? If this exist I could then change and use SFTP with the desired path set in mixplorer instead of FTPS

I was wondering about that. If there is a way to do that I would expect that it would be through a line in the bookmark's advanced settings but I don't recall such a thing.

On FileZilla I entered /home/imfilippo/torrents and it works perfectly, opening the connection directly in that folder; I entered the same path in known_hosts_path= here in MIXplorer but it opens the connection in /.
Is the syntax of the path address wrong?

I think you should be looking at your FTP server.

If your server was configured to restrict access, limiting clients to a particular subtree of the filesystem, there is nothing any client could do to access files outside of that subtree.

If what you meant was that the server allows access to the entire filesystem, but was setup so a client using ftps on port 21 would start in a particular directory:

• Is this a standard capability of FTP servers? Or is it something peculiar to this particular server?
• Do you expect such a client to be confined to the subtree to which it was directed?
• Do you see any server settings referring to whether any of this is optional or mandatory? (I mean, is there a server setting determining whether this "starting directory" is just a suggestion, or is the default if the client does not specify a starting directory, or is the only directory tree the client will be allowed to access.)

I do not think that the problem is my server because as I have already said both FileZilla on windows and samsung archive on android work correctly (without the need to set the directory from the client as it is already set on the server), opening the connection in the folder set on vsftpd (/home/imfilippo/torrents)

I wanted to use the FTPS becuase I configured vsftpd on linux setting the default folder to be displayed for each connection request on port 21.

Hi,
MiXplorer knows what the current folder on server is, but when you ask to open the root, so it will change the directory to "/" to make it match with the address bar. You can add remote path in your address manually when you add bookmark.
