Videos and audio files encoded with lossy codecs generally don't compress much as they're already "squeezed". You can try different compression levels, but YMMV.I'm a little confused on the archive part. It's my understanding that zipoing a file is supposed to make it much smaller so it would be easier to say send it through email. But when I use the archive thing in mixplorer, it take a 6.50Mb video down to only 6.31MB which in my opion isn't really that much of a compression at all.
Am I doing something wrong?
