I could understand @HootanParsa not wanting a tab labelled "All Files" to display less than all files. I do not immediately see a reason to treat "All Files of a Particular Type" differently.Ok so my hypothesis about built-in bookmarks can be discarded. I don't know what could cause the difference in behavior among different built-in bookmarks.

Req. Show files from "Pictures" subfolder in the internal storage (Storage/Pictures) in the "All Files" and "Images" internal bookmarks (for quicker access). Currently all files from that folder don't show up in the aforementioned bookmarks, yet that's where many apps (Twitter, Facebook/Reddit downloaders) save their downloaded content (ex. images)
Hi I'm on latest mixplorer by xda lab release.
Also more info with some reported software that already support it here https://jpegxl.info/JPEG XL (.jxl) support
JPEG Xl is a new image format that greatly improves on jpeg. I is both lossless and lossy. It is described here https://jpeg.org/jpegxl/ and the FAQ https://jpegxl.io/articles/faq/
It is supported on Windows and MacOS. No mobile Operating System supports JPEG XL, but browsers such as Chrome and Vivaldi support it on Android but may need a flag enabled (such as flags/#enable-jxl). See article on ghacks (https://www.ghacks.net/2021/05/11/find-out-if-your-browser-supports-the-new-image-format-jpeg-xl/)
There are no viewers that I can find that currently support .jxl files although I found one app that could convert it , File Converter: AVIF, JXL, ODS (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.mconverter.twa)
It would be great if the MiXplorer Image app could read JPEG XL (.jxl) files.
Hello, I recently switched to Android 11 and read about the restrictions for the new Scoped Storage for the /sdcard/Android/data folder and mixplorer works fine for this path. But it doesn't seem to access the one on external SD instead for example /storage/1B1B-0FF9/Android/data
But with root it is poosible to manage this directory using the path
/mnt/media_rw/1B1B-0FF9/Android/data
or
/mnt/runtime/full/1B1B-0FF9/Android/data
Was it already known?
I suggest that Mixplorer redirects to those paths if it has detected the root.
"you should be able to see the folder tree within the Android/data directory on both internal and external storage if you have granted the requested document providers."Keeping in mind that having access to the folders is different from being able to see or modify the contents of those folders... you should be able to see the folder tree within the Android/data directory on both internal and external storage if you have granted the requested document providers. Typically those permission prompts open automatically when you navigate into the folders as just now occurred on my non rooted Android 11 device. If that did not occur automatically you can invoke it by adding storage > document provider.
Interestingly, after adding the document providers as described for internal and external storage on a non rooted Android 11 device I am able to copy and create files in /android/data on both drives but I'm only able to save text files live witin editor in /internal storage/android/data. Attempts to save live edits of a text file in /external storage/android/data result in a sequentially numbered duplicate of the initial file with the duplicate containing the contents of the edit. Here things get weirder. When the sequentially numbered duplicate file containing the previous edit is opened then ssved witin editor, there may be an error "read failed: enoent (no such directory)"

Let's stop the presses for a Google comment. The fact that Google Voice typing flawlessly wrote the error message above including punctuation is yet another example about how bogus their speech recognition is when it comes to typing actual words. Also Google turns "back to mixplorer" into "bactrim explorer". ROTFL, please let us take any engaging but off topic of conversations about "bactrim (aka camel) exolorer" to the FAQ. HOWL!
Anyhow, back to mixplore, in the same file after receiving that error message the next attempt to save it may was successful but then create a new duplicate. Lather rinse repeat. I smell the presence of an Android media library and or permissions irregularities.
Goodness gracious I had attempted to merely describe a wedding document provider and then that rabbit hole opened up.
It may be of value in understanding to take a logcat of when you are denied."you should be able to see the folder tree within the Android/data directory on both internal and external storage if you have granted the requested document providers."
Yes for the internal sdcard path it worked this way after granted the requested document providers.
But for the external sdcard path even after providing that permission does not access nor does it change the data in the /data subfolder. Also it seems that not even the file manager document provider sees that folder.
Using instead the paths I indicated everything works and without document provider request (using root permissions) and I can add and edit files.
I tried to re-enter the external path /Android/data and grant permissions again with the document provider then I saved the logcat. It may be of value in understanding to take a logcat of when you are denied.
Is there a way to trigger MiXplorer servers from Tasker?
I used to be able to do it as per the image below.
Edit: Also seems that SD maid App can normally see the files in that path... but it didnt ask permission with document provider so i think is using the root path
Hello is it possible to tranfer file with difference network ? And how to do that ?
I think Guan Yu means different network. Though what Guan Yu really meant I'm not sure...What is a "difference network"?
What would it mean to transfer a file with a difference network?
Can we use regex in autotasks?
Example use case:
move all example-* files to the folder example. (with many instances of example)
MiX works fine on A12, did for me at least on Pixel 6.Hope HootanParsa get on with it. Last post from him on Feb 2022. Otherwise, we need an alternative that works reliably with Android 12 and Android 13 is also just around the corner.
That's not the usual behaviour of the moderator who acted to your post but also to others in the contact. I know the moderator normally always provides his name in his notification alerts but I hope you can accept that this occasionally - and unintentionally - happens "in the middle of a battle". Not as an excuse but as an explanation: You certainly know the number of moderators and we're all humans. It's sometimes a real hurry to keep this site with its 3.5+M threads and 78+M posts clean.I also cannot reply to the mod who erased it in private instead of posting this, because they've done it anonymously, not even a name. Really ? Has it come to this ? Not even decent manners ?
I'm sure it was an amazing, very charming but also very good looking mod!happened to me after i reported a series of posts on an OT matter. the good mod was able to charm me and calm me.![]()

I'm fully aware that you cannot see why my esteemed teammate @TNSMANI had cleaned the thread but I can assure you that first it was absolutely necessary and second it had nothing to do with anybody being unable to search.Maybe you could go and fix the horrible search first? Would make life here a lot easier....

I apologise but by the information you provided I didn't relate your complain to the use of the app. Personally, I'm not using the app at all for various reasons related to the moderation of this website.Have you tried searching in the App recently? I doubt it, or else you wouldn't say "no issues". You're better off finding what you are looking for by searchig on Google with site: than here. Back to topic.
