So, I solved it for me!
It works with the Samsung browser.
1. I am redirected from the mix to dropbox for authentication.
2. i enter the 2 factor code.
3. i give mix the permission.
4. i am redirected from dropbox to the callback page.
5. now it's important: in the samsung browser in the address bar appears a small mix symbol, I clicked on it and lo and behold, I am sent back to the mix app and have
access to the dropbox data.

Why delete Samsung browser?

Does it happen with every Python file?
Does it happen with a copy of the file?
Does it happen if you rename the copy to an extension other than ".py"?
Find the smallest file that crashes the code editor. (Keep deleting hunks from the file -- don't worry about it still being a valid program.)
Post that.
Also, see if it is sensitive to the specific location of the file. Report that.

so, i've updated the app after a very long time to 6.58.4 and now it seems to me the sidebar you see on the pic is more sensitive on the gesture swipe on my pixel 4a than with the older version.
is there anyway i can disable it in the settings?
i've looked through it but couldn't find it, maybe i'm blind.

anyone with a hint?

Sorry for late reply, actually most of the time it happens even when just viewing subtitles but here's recently crash report if you could take a look at it:

Have all the crashes occurred when you tried to perform a "Find and Replace"?
Does the text editor also crash?
Have you tried to produce a minimal test case?

so I reinstalled the older one 6.49.3 and the swipe action (i mean to return to the previous folder) works like it should,
means i swipe with my thumb on the left side of my device/screen to the right.

if i do it in the latest version, it opens the sidebar.
i can try it up to 5 times and more and i can't return to the previous folder.

so is there a way i can didable the sidebar from the swipe action?

edit: so i've tried 6.52, 6.53, 6.54 and the swipe on the left display side to return (i'm on a pixel 4a with gestures) works like it should. the problem why i had to update from 6.49 to the latest one 6.58 was that my drive access was blocked bcs of mixplorer.

but from 6.56 the swipe action don't work anymore instead of returning i open up the sidebar, it's annoying.

2nd edit:
i've installed 6.58.4 beta and the same behaviour. can't go/swipe back when i'm in the "download" folder. when icm in the settings, the swipe back works normal.

Are you sure there is a previous folder?
I remember something like "swipe right goes to preceding tab; if in first tab, it opens the bookmark sidebar".

Maybe we should stop saying "previous" when there is no time order involved.

Hello, you misunderstood the swipe action in mix. However there is a swipe option in settings > more settings "Swipe in first and last tab" you can disable....
Swiping is for tabs NOT folder as you say...The video you posted shows only one tab so if you have the swipe option enabled in more settings every time you swipe right it opens the drawer, instead if you swipe left it creates a new tab...then when you are in the second tab, swiping right go back to the first tab (Not folder as you say)...

@HootanParsa Issue in 6.56-5 Silver: File date will be changed, when uploading to Nextcloud/ownCloud

When copying/moving files to Nextcloud or ownCloud, the file date of last change will be lost and replaced with current date.
Of course the option to keep the date is enabled.

Using other apps for this action, the file date is kept correctly. So it seems to work generally - unfortunately not working with MiXplorer.

I'm using Samsung devices (Android 11). Possible to fix? Thanks!

Meanwhile on Android 12, other devices. Issue still the same.

When using MiX as a document provider, it remembers the last used folder. So when it's used again as a document provider, it goes directly to the last used folder.
Is there currently a way to disable that?. If not, would you please consider adding such option.

That is MiXplorer Silver, the Playstore version - that isn't free because it's meant to support the developer

The XDA version is the free one, attached to post #2 on page 1 of this thread.

Hello Mix developers. I have a little something that I'd like to bring to your attention in regards to how newer versions of MIxplorer and certain addons treat CBZ files. I don't know waether to classify this as a bug, bit it is new behavior)

2 options: Either enable the OTG driver in MiXplorer Settings, or add it via Bookmarks - add Storage - Document Provider.
