hi i buyed android12(API31?) phone. AQUOS wish2
MiXplorer witch install is correctly?
i realized API29 is Big change storage issue. so i installed 'not API29' maybe terget API33 MiXplorer version

The new "There may not be enough space ..." is a welcome addition, but there might be a related issue that needs to be addressed. When moving for example 10 files with a total size of 1.8GB to a directory with 2GB of free space, after the first file (300MB) is moved the operation is paused saying there's enough space and you have to manually resume it. I believe it compares the total size with the free space left after every file is moved, without subtracting the size of the moved files from the total, hence the issue.

Because of Google's scoped storage and permission limitations, sometimes operations require files to be cached internally by MiX ( or any other application ) before being moved or copied, which might cause errors of this kind because more space than what would be actually needed is used -- not saying it is the case without knowing exact details, but something to keep in mind.

Versions newer than 6.48.0 fail passing a file requested by KeePassDX, when this file is in an EncFs-directory. The file is a keyfile that is needed by KeePassDX to unlock the password database.

I tested this with MiXplorer 6.48.0 & 6.47.2 (both working) and 6.48.1 & 6.58.8 (both not working). Same result for different versions of KeePassDX.

When the keyfile is in a regular directory, all tested versions work.

Looking at the changelog of MiXplorer, EncFs is mentioned in version 6.48.1 (the first version that is not working):

v6.48.1_B20071810
• Fixed executing shell scripts as an unprivileged user.
• Optimized the streaming performance in EncFs volume.

I don't know if this has anything to do with this issue.

I've generated logfiles for v6.48.0 (working) and 6.58.8 (not working) while creating a new database with the following steps:

1. Start KeePassDX
2. At KeePassDX: Select 'create new database'
3. At KeePassDX: Select directory for database; this will start MiXplorer
4. At MiXplorer: Select directory; this will return to KeePassDX
5. At KeePassDX: Fill in password
6. At KeePassDX: Select keyfile; this will start MiXplorer
7. At MiXplorer: Go to EncFs-directory and enter its password
8. At MiXplorer: Select keyfile; this will return to KeePassDX
9. At KeePassDX: Create the database; if successful, this will open an empty database

I recently installed 6.59.1 and noticed the Player no longer plays on my old Moto G3. No issues on my Pixel 4a. So I got a copy of 6.58.5 from APK mirror and now Player works on my Moto G3. So two questions:
1) Is my issue a bug or is there a way to fix on my G3?
2) Is there a better location I can down load older MiXplorers?

Thanks I have a question.. I am testing the app and I will donate to the developer. can the app be locked automatically? I have a Folfer EncFS and after I put the password it stays open until I close mixplorer from the exit menu. If I exit with the back button, the EncFS stays open. Only if I exit mixplorer from the exit menu. Maybe add time seconds to automatically lock..

I will give my humble opinion, 3 versions ago it was better.

I notice a little more battery consumption when watching videos, I don't like the message when deleting files (I have disabled the trash, and even so the design of the message seems strange to me, I guess it's Because he was used to the old mixplorer and sometimes when watching a video and swiping to exit, he gets stuck (watching a video on mega.nz) among other things.

AFAIK, nothing has recently changed regarding the video processing, and the only other thing that I can think of which would have impact would be the encryption settings when using a network or cloud location as the source of the media, or differences in the formatting and size of the drive if it is local. This is not to say that it could not be a MiX issue that is difficult to establish considering how many other suspects there are which are also involved in playing video. It may not be worth your time to chase this but if you choose to do so you could start by logging a test in the new version of MiXplorer and the one which you feel performs better to see if there are any differences in the logs.

When you say "trash" it is not clear if you mean "undo" or "recycle bin", and the distinction is critical so let's use the proper terminology. As previously described in this thread (just about every three or four posts in the past few pages) and as described in newly created documentation: As a consequence of an overhaul of the Undo feature which has been split into Recycle Bin and Undo, we must disable Recycle Bin and Undo after this update but that is a one time thing. After you have disabled them the user experience should be no different than it was before.

Perhaps this could be a MiXplorer issue but also could be related to incidental changes to the OS or storage. In any event this piece might be worth digging into with logs and specific details.

Unfortunately this is not documented in the FAQ. You might have to wait and see what other users who use these features think of your report or what the developer can make of it.

At the moment I exit the application with the button back long press... But there is something strange when creating an EncFS... I added an EncFS container in my mega.nz account.. But I can't copy anything inside it.. There's something weird, I can copy inside mega anywhere.. But inside EncFS I can't.. It just says "Failed operation" I have a pcloud account and with it I have no problem creating an EncFS container and copying files.. Maybe it's a mega server error.

The issue with playback on the G3 (I miss my old G3 but am happy with GPower ) might be worth logging especially considering that you have a comparison on which you could log successful playback as well. As for the G3 you might want to test the same files in different players as well.

The reason this is not in the FAQ is because I have no experience with EncFS but you've gathered some good details and the fact that there is a toast stating "failed operation" might indicate that even more helpful information could be collected in a log but you might want to wait to hear from the developer before bothering with that.

Mixplorer 6.59.1 xda version opens video but does not play. Install beta version and siver version video plays but after video ends does not auto play next video like usually does.

Check Mixplorer More Settings to see if you have Startup Lock ticked
