as far I understood windows is creating 2.0 and 2.1 type zip files but I dont 100% know when its using 2.1 type

That's different from your previous posts in which you stated that a specific version was created by default in Windows. If you don't know in which cases which version is used then you don't know which is the default.

You might have a reasonable request but you have not presented the information in a straightforward way so it's time for me to "dust my broom". Good luck.

this way you can easy create your samples yourself

when you zip a single file >2g with windows it will create a 2.1 type zip which cant be unzipped by mixplorer

Why don't you simply use a proper packing tool instead of the built-in Windows one? I've been using Windows since way back when and I have never used the built in zipping tool for anything. Others are much better in all respects.

to be honest I never used windows Zip before but somebody else did and we got these unclear errors which are clear now

I dont real know how to blame windows for using 2.1 without need or zlib for not supporting 2.1

If ZArchiver or whatever appropriate Linux package on Termux don't do it, then, no ? Try those.

I don't know what full SMB speed is but I added 'encrypt_data' option for SMB3 in the latest version and it's disabled by default. So your data won't be encrypted, so it will be copied faster.

Sorry for the late reply. Indeed, updated to last version and at least now the speeds are up to 20-25MB/s. Thank you.

Hello.
Why there is no option on http/webdav server to upload multiple file?
If possible please add this function.
I was a long time user of Xplore file manager from 2013. And only thing i miss is to upload multiple file at ones. Download multiple files. Delete files from web etc.
Please add this if possible

Just installed Version: 6.63.1 B23042510, all of my saved tabs were lost. Never had this happen before after update.

I've not seen any other negative reports about this on 6.63.1. Is it fine to install? 6.63.0 had the same problem AND made my Mega cloud unusable. Hence I downgraded to 6.62.3. Is it safe to update?

In regards to the lost tab issue, I wouldn't even worry about it. I only saw it happen once DIRECTLY after an update. You CAN save all your settings BEFORE an update if you have enough tabs that you don't want to manually set them up again, IF they happen to get lost.

(The Mega cloud issue I can't speak to personally...)

Yes, I understand, but 6.63.0 couldn't even restore my MiX-backup, it was that crippled. So 6.63.1 is fine?

Actually, I would definitely say not. I have backups, but I don't backup everyime I change my tabs. I seemed to have lost nothing but my tabs, so I didn't try restoring my backup.

I (along with others here, based on what they have said here) ASSUMED that it would work because it SHOULD.

(Actually, I haven't backed up since at least a few updates, so my backups might no longer work. I will backup NOW to be safe. I appreciate you pointing this out!)

I would find it very preferable if the format of the backup names moved year from the end of the date to the beginning of the date.

In other words, what is now:
MiXplorer_5_5_2023_08-14-06.mic

Would become:
MiXplorer_2023_5_5_08-14-06.mic

That would allow the names of the backups to sort correctly alphabetically, which they currently do not, IMO.

For more balance, I don't use Mega nowdays, I do use Google Drive, but I am not currently experiencing any issues that would make me wish to revert to a prior version.

Yep, my Google drives all work too as does OneDrive and Dropbox

+1 for year-first option and or default. There is already a custom date format setting which, IIRC, may not apply to backup names. There could be another for backups. If that is not worth the trouble then I would also think year first is a good choice for default as it makes sort by file name more meaningful unless someone is only looking within one year.
