"In Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and Windows Server, version 1709 (RS3), the Server Message Block version 1 (SMBv1) network protocol is no longer installed by default. It was superseded by SMBv2 and later protocols starting in 2007. Microsoft publicly deprecated the SMBv1 protocol in 2014. "

This can be solved by one of two ways.
1. The most secure method is by using the MiX SMB 2.0/2.1 Addon
Note: MiXplorer v6.18.6+ is required.
2. Less secure method is by enabling SMBv1 on Windows 10 1709
Note: A change to or from Enabled to Disabled requires a reboot.

I listed both protocols so as to check the status of both protocols and if anyone wants to change it/them can do so.

Make sure that "Turn on file and printer sharing" is selected for your current network profile. It will say "(current profile) next to your profile be it "Private" or "
Guest or Public".
Using command prompt or Cortana use the following command to check it.
