What for? I don’t see the point and logic ... Everything is so good.Is it possible to swap these two panels in places?
One will be like a toolbar and the other one will be like statusbar with information
This is only a purely opportunity to make the interface as you like for yourself. What for? I don’t see the point and logic ... Everything is so good.
in reading the faq and guide, it mentions SU and other things related toNice mock-up. AFAIK, not really, in fact the settings I'm aware of do the opposite and pull more UI elements to the bottom in portrait.
Settings > More settings > Bottom bar
Settings > More settings > split action bar.
Take a look at what those settings do for comparison keeping in mind they don't necessarily do what you want but could help form a feature request. Note: in landscape with dual panel mode there might be different effects to the same settings. Also could you clarify whether the upward arrow in your picture is pointing to the breadcrumb bar or the main bar in the blue above it?
Of course, then you just can't do any operations that need root.My phone is not rooted. Can I ignore these instructions, and will it function without settings those things.

don't want to hose up my phone. Thanks for your time.
I can confirm your first issue:every version after mixplorer 6.57.x silver /beta/stable on my room (lineage os 18,android11) have two super annoying bugs :
1) open a text file in the code editor (long enough to have vertical scroll )scroll at the bottom select a word by long pressing it (double click works as expected ), code editor suddenly scroll to the top ,very very annoying.
2) if u click more than once (first time is fine )on the audio /video notification (from notification pane )the media player is no longer brought in focus .
can please someone confirm these 2 issues I'm an old version for months and I'd like to update mixplorer .
I think "No-IP" only gets you over the hump of referring to your external IP address using a name. It doesn't address actually having your computer respond to anything. You need to have some kind of server running on your computer to serve the files.Does anybody know how (or IF?) I can set up MiXplorer to access the files on my PC (bookmarks mostly) when I'm not at home in my own network? I've set up a No-IP account + hostname but can't figure out how to add + access the hostname/URL in MiXplorer, or if that's even possible
I don't want to have to use TeamViewer or any app like that since those tend to change the resolution/window sizes on my PC which is annoying. Plus I would only need it for file transfers anyway, like if I'm at a friend's house and need a file from my PC at home.
Any help/advice would be appreciated
Where did you install from? The 2nd post here on the this thread? Or is it MiX silver from the play store, because the dev must be verified to publish apps on the play store. As long as you only install from verified sources, this to thread, play store, and I think there may be a telegram channel, you have nothing to worry about. If you are installing weird magisk zips or from warez sites better start changing your passwords and pins...My apologies in advance if this issue has been raised before.
I've noticed that MiXplorer is the only app that seems to be triggering a security alert on my Google account which suggests to perform an account security checkup.
The issue in particular appears to be how the MiXplorer app is not officially recognized by Google as having an Unverified Developer.
Is there any particular reason given this app is downloaded directly from the Play Store, where it is assumed the app would be in compliance with Google policies and verification which would prevent this in the first place? View attachment 5723353
Well I did enable "Remote Access" and forwarded the port, so I was hoping MiX could somehow use that. I don't want to run an FTP Server here 24/7 just on the off chance I might need a file lol.I think "No-IP" only gets you over the hump of referring to your external IP address using a name. Try running an FTP server on your computer.
Bookmarks might be part of what Google is dying to warehouse for you. If you just want an easy way to call up bookmarks while away from home, you might be better off letting Google sync your bookmarks.
Or make an HTML file full of bookmarks and copy it to your phone. You'll have to remember to copy again every time you add a bookmark, but you won't have to worry about security or learn how to set up a file server.
The app was downloaded thru the Play Store. This is why it's very odd that Google would determine MiX as having unverified developer since the app has only ever been downloaded thru this XDA thread and now strictly from the Play Store only.Where did you install from? Weird, my MiX Silver is downloaded from the Playstore as well, doesn't have that "Unknown Developer" part in Google's Security area and the whole text is shorterMy apologies in advance if this issue has been raised before.

Xda search is junk, can't search if not login (i browse on incognito), timeline is messed up
Also i didn't mean to offend anyone, since the burger isn't available
It's irrelevant why you don't want to follow the rules but if you don't it will eventually lead to consequences to your account. I'm convinced this is something you want to avoid.1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting or creating a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's very likely that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.
Go ahead, ban me. Reason: not use search function
That would be the greatest joke of all time to tell my grandkids
And don't be weak by deleting post instead of addressing the issue, this site obviously horde justice warrior, with the guy inisiated the quarrel, yet you only delete mine.

You said "use an alternative" in your post.
Is there any possibility to open a different viewing app out of MiXExplorer instead of ImageViewer which would allow swiping through the whole folder?
If I click "open with" and choose Google Photos for example only the one picture opened opens in Google Photos and I cannot swipe through the whole folder like I can in ImageViewer.
Yes, known issue and since you are new bookmark this https://xdaforums.com/t/mixplorer-q-a-and-faq-user-manual.3308582/i'm on android 14, tried mix stable and beta, mix can't access android/data folder
is this a known issue?
