Well, its kinda of a problem.
I mean, I can fetch your chat notifications, but then the notification will be marked as read inside the browser.
Meaning you will not get a very good experience.
I don't know of any official facebook api that allows you to fetch chat notifications.

They will all get "read" status on them, and disappear from your browser notifications.
