Introduction
Memotion is a voice journal/diary application that uses the technology of Beyond Verbal Communications (BVC) to emotionally analyse the speaker.
As well as analysing your diary entries, there is also a 'Quick Analysis' feature, so you can capture the innermost thoughts and underlying emotions of what anyone is truly feeling when they are speaking......
This application was created firstly to showcase the technologies of BVC, so a little about them:
Beyond Verbal
The Emotions Analytics world leader. Its patented technology enables machines to understand the dimension of human emotions from their raw voices in real-time as they speak. Following 18 years of research into the mechanisms of the human intonation the company has developed a technology that extracts an individual's full set of emotions and character traits, using their raw vocal modulations.
Beyond Verbal's software was founded on 18 years of research by physicists and neuropsychologists, who studied more than 70,000 test subjects in 33 languages. The ability to extract, decode, and measure human moods, attitudes and decision-making characteristics, introduces a whole new dimension of emotional understanding, called Emotions Analytics™.
Led by a veteran management team of industry professionals, the company's goal is to leverage its unique abilities to impact a new multi-billion market of emotionally-enhanced applications installed in practically any voice enabled, voice activated, or voice controlled device.
What else does it do?
Memotion captures the inspiration for your journal entries by embedding related content directly into the audio file. This way, there is no danger of it becoming lost or fragmented over time, with database entries and text documents becoming deleted with a change of storage or a device wipe etc etc.
Memotion uses the FLAC audio codec container to embed the following:

If you're a user of utter! then Memotion will share your emotion analysis and it will become the first 'Virtual Assistant' to have an understanding of its user's emotional psyche - A context that is more useful to the imagination, rather than direct implementation as of right now!
