Was it specifically a link to Magisk or to XDA that they cited? There have been other apps that list an XDA thread for support. Are you able to remediate and upload without that link?
It is because the xda thread was about magisk and how to root.
Nope, I may not reupload a new version that complies with their policy.

.. only if it's a new app with new name and packagename.

Sorry, man. They should worry more about the malicious f'ers getting their crap scamming apps through the approval policy process than removing apps made by supportive, quality coders. I haven't even used the app in a while (since there is no squeeze support yet for custom ROMs), and I still check both the P3 and P3XL threads to see what you've been up to.

I updated the magisk module to the latest version. Within the app, it shows that I'm using the free version. However, I paid for the premium. Whenever I tried to restore the premium version nothing happens. This is on pixel 3xl, rooted with latest ex kernel on December security update. Thanks.

Edit: Please disregard the app corrected itself.

Installation failure: mismatched MD5

Trying to install Active Edge Module using Magisk Manager on a Pixel 3 and I'm getting an MD5 error. Tried multiple times. No luck. Log pasted below:

Any ideas? Are there instructions for an alternative way to install?

I'd like to use this mod, along with Edge Sense Plus, to add Active Edge functionality to my own apps (I'm assuming this can be done by exposing actions that Edge Sense Plus can hook).

Thank you!

How many times you tried to install it?
Sometimes GitHubs servers are unreliable..so try again till it works.
It you can't get it working, join the telegram chat and ask for the Roo with the long didgeridoo.

If your app exposes shortcuts or multiple activities you can launch those via edge sense plus to forward them to your app.

Thanks for the response. I've tried about 20 times, today and yesterday. Same thing happens. Could this be a permissions issue of some sort? The fact that github.com can't be resolved is surprising.

I'll try to download Telegram and find the chat. I assume there is information on how to get to it in one of these threads?

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. Installed both module v70 and ESP 1.32.0, but the gestures don't seem to work.

If there's anything I could provide for debugging, please let me know.

When I want to do a screenshot by squeezing I always get a prompt that says edge sense plus gets access to sensitive data and after pressing yes there is a huge delay.
Any solutions?
The workaround for this is to run the tasker "system screenshot" action via active edge

Another problem that annoys me now is that longpressing the home button also triggers the active edge action so it's a wasted hotkey
Doesn't seem as straightforward though to intercept a longpress

Also, why is setting a shortcut on "Squeeze and hold" greyed out on my Pixel 3? There's no premium badge or "root only" note next to it so it kind of baffles me.

Updated to Android 11 and Edge Sense stopped to working. Magisk module was updated to v71 before upgrade. But after Android 11 update, removed and installed Active Edge module again and reinstalled Edge Sense Plus app, but still active edge not working. I have only one short press (flashlight) defined. But when i go to Phone settings - System - Gestures - Active Edge and there i squeeze phone, flashlight works fine.

Can you

adb shell settings put system esp_assist_gesture_enabled 1

and

adb shell settings put secure assist_gesture_enabled 1

Reboot and see if it works then?
