Speak! A simple yet powerful text to speech client for Android​

Speak! is a text to speech client for Android devices running 3.0+.
It is made for both phones and tablets, with appropriate user interfaces for each. It is made to be as simple as possible, enter text, and press speak.
There's an easy to access volume slider just above the speak button - no messing with the physical volume buttons on your device!

Also, Speak! is powerful. You can change all the changeable settings in the Android text to speech engine, pitch, speed and the voice which is used, which means it will suit any language. You can also set it to save the last said text - this means that it will remember the last thing you told it to say and enter it automatically when you start the app again. Simple, but powerful.


Speak! was a weekend project of mine, so there might be bugs, and I'm working on improving it and adding features, such as configurable buttons to make it easier so you don't have to enter your most used phrases every time.


Tip! You can open the enter text edit text area by pressing in any blank space between the bottom of the editable area and the volume section, as well as accessing it normally.
