Having problems with tap on widget and shortcuts on LockScreen

I switch recently to a new Smartphone with Android 10 and installed Apex Launcher.
It works except 2 issues:

1.) When I double tap on a widget on my HomeScreen I expected that the underlying App is opened for editing some content.
This is not the case (any more) like in Android 9.

2.) I miss an option in

Settings--->Lockscreen--->Shortcuts

to redefine Shortcuts in the lower left and right corner of my LockScreen.

Are these 2 problems came from Apex Launcher?

How to solve them?

I can't create a backup since Android 11. Error: This action cannot performed.

When I put a finger on a free place (=Not exactly on top border) on the Android 10 desktop background and swipe from north to south then an APEX dialog/screen appears (see attached snapshot).

How can I disable this dialog/screen?

If I accidentially perform such a swipe nothing should happen.

Or - alternatively - the Android shortcut pane should appear. Just as if I would have swiped from exactly top border to south

does anybody knows how to restore widgets. .? i have upgraded to android 11.

I don't thinl you can restore the old widgets. Only widgets available on the new version can restored if lost.
