EXKM. While KA has many nice features I found enough annoying glitches push me elsewhere.

Okay yeah I have bought EXKM some time back. But I'm still in the dilemma between KA or EXKM.
What kind of glitches did you encounter with KA? Perhaps I'm better of using EXKM since it is more updated.
There should be no dilemma. Decide what you want to do then try them both. More likely than not both will get the job done. It then boils down to personal preference.
Smart pack kernel manager, it's based on KA.
Hm interesting, exkm didn't seem to stick my settings very good :/ I feel like official KA worked better than EXKM but I will look into Smart pack also
do you use it without his kernel?

I've installed this app on my nexus 4 with Android 9.0 version, and in the screen settings there is no gamma control settings, I've red that google has disabled gamma control, and I really need it, because when not changing it my phone hurts my eyes much.

I guess then it's a functionality not provided by your kernel. In this case the statement out of the OP applies:
I just had a brief look into your device's forum, and there're (gratefully) quite a lot of other kernels available. Consider to test one or more of those.
Is there any one that use it on j500xx and can help me to set it to have better performance?
all the available kernels for my phone are for old android versions.
in ' Kernel Adiutor' i can just change gamma to predefined gamma profiles, is there a way to change it manually?
It depends on your kernel. KA is just an interface to kernel functions.

I am using this app on allwinner r16 car head unit.the cpu is a quad core 1.6 Ghz and in cpu section I can see this speed is available.but after changing the governor to performance and setting the max speed to 1.6 it keeps dropping back to 1.2 Ghz.any ideas about the reason?

No controls for adjusting the GPU governors? I heard msm-tz adreno, simple on-demand, are adjustible. Could use that option and a startup option(apps).
