@exisapps I would like to know more about the recent change "Group ringtones reworked".
Actually ONE of my personal ringtones cannot be associated anymore on a group.
The group shows the "note" simbol on the right but if I check any contact on that group it reports "default" (actually in italian )
Other contacts in different groups reports [email protected]
Is that change related to some kind of automatic ringtone assignment when a contact is added to the group?
BTW, this group isn't on my Google's account but on Exchange.
May I have to send you a debug just after trying to associate the ringtone?
@exisapps About 6 months passed and the problem is still unresolved... I'm running v2.0.17 released on 14/07/2021...@exisapps The problem seems related to the Label/group name! It's the default one "Coworkers", translated in Italian as "Collaboratori" in True Phone.
In my Exchange contact I have created the category "Collaboratori" to let it be merged in TP with the same label available into Google Contacts.
As a temporary solution I have created a personal label with the same name on Exchange and Google Contacts and now TP is able to assign the ringtone.
I just would like to remark again that this problem started with the "new group ringtone"...

I prefer True Phone but this spam filtering should I answer is pretty cool.
Is there any chance the 2 apps can cooperate and bring the best of both together or at least become compatible.
I've tried running both but they knock heads and cause issues.
I'd like to see do I answer handling the filtering and reporting of spam then pass the call to True Caller or however it would be best.
Maybe True Phone answers passes for filtering and is passed if it's a real call back to True Phone?

Every time I add to Blacklist in TruePhone, I think of Should I answer. Mainly because I'm not sure what Black List does and how effective it is, I remember how good Should I answer does what it does.

I have the same issue with True Phone call recording. The voice of the other person is really low while mine is fine. You say that it's fine with root but how can I trigger True Phone to ask me for root access? It never did.
