incorrect version info in Google play store link

Hi,

I tried to download True Phone app from Google (India) Play store.

To my surprise, I see that all the screenshots are of new version, Updated Column shows Latest Date (7 May 2020).
Yet the Version info is still 1.7.8 and the app is also older. The Changelog also seems to be for older version.

Is this expected or ...?

I tried to download True Phone app from Google (India) Play store.

Ok, thanks for letting us know.
The problem is that we already released True Phone 2.0.1 on May 7, but for specific countries only.
We're still waiting for some approvals from our partners to release it worldwide.
Hope it will be soon.

Update: approved, update will be available in several days in GP. Also, I've updated thread header and added direct link to the latest version from our server.

- Could you please, tell me where in settings I can find: geo-location for all unknown numbers, including mobile network provider name and region. Is this to be enabled somewhere and how does it work?

- Can you please add date format like this: 2020.08.28

- Would someone explain to me the option Settings/behavior/pick phone number. What is this for?

I would like to bump these questions. In addition I am attaching a screenshot of the setting (pick phone number), which I don't know what it does.

If anybody could answer these questions I will appreciate it.

i think it is for situations where there are more than 1 number for contacts. out of the 4 options available, i have chosen 'always, except call history'. so, when i choose to call a contact from call history, that number is immediately dialed. maybe someone else can throw more light on it.

backup your running settings, uninstall that build and try the one posted here.
if not entirely happy, reinstall the old build and restore your settings. :good:

just saying: when you come back to a thread after a long gap, try and start from where you left. or search for the dev's posts. fyi, @exisapps has been active (again) in this thread starting here. many thanks to him.

Wondering about multitasking with True Phone? I'm on 1.7.8, rev 97 (Samsung A50, Android 9). When I'm on a call and try to switch to another app to look something up, I'm unable to do so. True Phone just doesn't accept the request. Is it something I've done?

high time you got on v2.0.x. you can customise it like in the screenshot or even better. switching to other apps work fine too.

I'll take a look. I've been letting the phone take care of updates so I assumed that this was the current version?
