Yes, I couldn't find a way, either.
But that's OK. I'll just hope for that feature in a later version.

wish non-market users get the latest builds here like earlier....Latest Date (7 May 2020). Yet the Version info is still 1.7.8...
Ok, thanks for letting us know.I tried to download True Phone app from Google (India) Play store.
Thanks for pushing on. Massive work here!
- Could you please, tell me where in settings I can find: geo-location for all unknown numbers, including mobile network provider name and region. Is this to be enabled somewhere and how does it work?
- Can you please add date format like this: 2020.08.28
- Would someone explain to me the option Settings/behavior/pick phone number. What is this for?
Thanks.
i think it is for situations where there are more than 1 number for contacts. out of the 4 options available, i have chosen 'always, except call history'. so, when i choose to call a contact from call history, that number is immediately dialed. maybe someone else can throw more light on it.....the setting (pick phone number), which I don't know what it does....
Sounds logic and quite possible to be so. This is it, exactly as it was described by m0han
make your choice here: true phone settings » incoming/ongoing call screens » incoming call screen » answer style..... a way to have answer buttons (except /decline), instead of the slider..
aren't you using version 2.0.x?...can't find > incoming/ongoing call screens, anywhere in settings...
backup your running settings, uninstall that build and try the one posted here.
high time you got on v2.0.x. you can customise it like in the screenshot or even better. switching to other apps work fine too....on a call and try to switch to another app to look something up, I'm unable to do so....

I have exact the same problem. It's impossible to talk with the phone on your shoulder. The screen turns on when you turn the phone vertically, and therefore all buttons are available for pushing.(Copy of previous post of mine)
I am a long-time user of the app and I confirm - this is the strongest in regards of customization app around.
Unfortunately - while using the app - during phone calls I get too many unintended reactions from the app - obviously I am pressing some parts of the screen with my ear or cheek. The app opens different parts of its activities, which I really do not want to happen.
This does not happen with other phone apps!
Please, have a look at this, for me the app is unusable.
I can't run constantly around with an earpiece in my ear. That is simply not possible. If i get a call, i pick it up, and if i need to use my computer at the same time, i lay the phone on my shoulder, and press it up against my ear. At this point the phone rotates from being vertically aligned against my ear, to lay horizintally between my shoulder and ear. At this time the screen lits up, and my problem begins. In other words, i want the screen to be shut off so that i can't push any buttons with my cheek. During my call I usually do not need to watch my screen. If i want to do that, then i could simply push a button.I'm missing something here. On a call a phone automatically uses the proximity sensor to figure out if the phone is close to your ear. If not then the screen turns on and is therefore susceptible to touch.... Why not use a bluetooth ear piece if you can't take calls in usch a way as to keep the screen off? Or try the aspp in this article ... https://www.groovypost.com/howto/keep-the-screen-on-during-a-call-on-android/ ....
We're back to work since 2020 ^) Great update with a lot of fixes and complete in-call/incoming call UI is coming soon. This thread is pretty quiet...
