RSenG2x with regards donations, i happily donated to the open mic project and will probably donate to this as well. For quite a few it's not really about the extra voting powers it's more of a way to show appreciation and encourage you to push the app further. I'd be happy to donate now even if no further development happens. Just a way to say thanks for what you've achieved up till now is enough tbh imho.

Hello,

Thnx for a really great app. Specially love the latest update with Whatsapp integration.
This really filled a hole for me.

But still a question though: is it in someway possible to integrate a name and then a message in the WA command? Something like Google search sms command. This would be ultimate.

Thnx in advance.

Cheers

Ps: gonna donate too somewhere between today and tomorrow. Just to say thnx.

Yes this is exactly the revelation that I had! I want people to donate only if they feel like they have the need to show their appreciation and not to get some incentive. I hate how our political system is so affected by lobbyists and the last thing I wanted to do is to create a similar system in my app :) FYI if you are interested in this type of thing you should check out Green House a browser extension by my schoolmate! http://www.engadget.com/2014/06/19/greenhouse-nicholas-rubin/

So this type of functionality is possible, but it would involve such a huge amount of work that I don't think it is worth it... That was my first intention with this command, but as I found myself having to put up servers and basically having to rewrite a Whatsapp client, I decided that this is a huge amount of effort to save users a single tap :)

I kept the possibility of this open to third-party devs, but it would be much better if Whatsapp actually created a proper Android api. They used to have one, but then limited it for some reason to the one used in Commandr. Also thanks for the donation! I'm really impressed by how many people were willing to donate when I expected to only get a few dollars :)

Thnx for your reply m8.

Understand what you mean. Don't go through all that effort for one click. It already is amazing as is.

Donation should be there by now. It's not much, but it's from a good hart.

Cheers

What about asking the whatsapp plus team to join you in this? Just a thought. Great work btw. I'm constantly showing off all your cool work

Ok, lets try.

U need:
-Commandr
-Tasker
-WhatsTasker
-Rooted device

Make sure all apps are set up before importing the task into Tasker.

1.)Unzip and then import attached Tasker task into Tasker
(Test drive it to see if it works)

2.)Give it a name u want in Commandr under Tasker options and activate.

3.)Have fun with it:D

There could be some Dutch texts and Dutch tts in there, but that can be changed easilly in the 'get voice' actions within the task.

Let me know if it works.

Cheers

Very cool, thanks for posting! That's pretty clever what the dev of WhatsTasker has done... The app does request full network access, so I'm thinking that he is using the method I talked about briefly above. I'll send him an email to see if he would consider directly integrating the send feature into Commandr.

Check your PM... Hope it helps.
Should I try the take a picture option with CM yet, or is that fix still in the works?

Just didn't want to test and have to restart the device if you haven't had a chance to address that yet.

No rush, just want to help test the fix when you're ready.

Yes sorry haven't had the time to fix it yet... I have been busy with college applications and have been trying my best to stay away from development as it is quite time consuming... As soon as I finish my first set of drafts for my first application, I'll go ahead and fix this...

Hey folks,

any idea why it doesn't work for me?
I'm using a Nexus 5 with 4.4.3. Accessibilty service ist activated. (language is set to german - is this the problem?)
The built-in commands doesn't work, nor the tasker commands (external access is activated).

Thanks for your help.

Can you try disabling and then reenabling the accessibility service? Can you also try saying note to self before the command? This will help isolate the issue.

how can I make it control Spotify instead of Google music?

Spotify is not yet supported as it is a little more tricky to integrate with them as they don't support the system-wide intents. I'll get to it when I have a chance... In the mean time, please vote for this inside the app.

    - New Command: Navigate with Waze
    - Crash & Bug Fixes
    - Updated translations Contribute at getlocalization.com/commandr

    - Fix issues with flashlight command and google play music playlist command
    - Multiple bug fixes
    - Updated and add multiple translations

This was implemented successfully using MohammadAG's Google Now API, but unfortunately it seems that this api has many bugs and has to be updated for the new version of Google Search. As soon as this is updated (he is on vacation right now), I will add this functionality :) For now, rolling back changes...
