Great app. I love the integration with Tasker. I had to try it after watching your video. Seems our voices are similar. Every time you said "OK Google" in the video it would pause and Google Now would popup!

Version 3.3 Released!

3.3:
- Now search for keywords instead of an exact match. For example if you enter "Commandr is cool, Commandr & good" then all of the following phrases will match "Commandr is cool", "Commandr is really good", "Look at how good Commandr is"
- New Command: Navigate with Waze
- Crash & Bug Fixes
- Updated translations, contribute at getlocalization.com/commandr

College is expensive, small donations are extremely appreciated!

Hi! The new version freezes google now when I start typing to google now search fieldand launches my tasker custom commands in an instant (or something similar). Reverted back to 3.2 and it's fixed.

Possible issue on 3.3.1

Hi.
Totally awesome app so thank you.
Just noticed though when I upgraded to the new version, the lock/unlock command doesn't work anymore. Just to let you know. Again thanks for such an awesome app.

I can't get it to work

I have a Galaxy S4 running 4.3, and a Moto 360 running Wear 5.0.1.

I installed Commandr, then installed Xposed and activated the Commanr and Google Search API Xposed modules, and ticked the "Use Xposed" checkbox in the Commandr settings.

When I untick the "Say 'Note to Self'" setting, Commandr tells me to turn back off the Commandr for Google Now accessibility service.

But whatever I do, I still have to say "Note to self" to run any Commandr commands. If I try without "Not to self", my Moto goes to try to search (it seems) but freezes on a dark grey/black screen. Doesn't look like the command ever makes it to my phone.

What am I doing wrong? Is it the Moto? 5.0.1? Something else?

Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

Battery drain?

I just noticed what appears to be a battery drain issue. I'm not sure if there's a setting I can use to decrease this:

I think the battery drain I've been experiencing is because Commandr is listening even when the screen is off. Any idea how I can set it to listen only when the screen is on? I had the phone sitting on my desk during a conference call when I suppose someone said something that sounded like "OK Google" and the screen turned on and started listening, otherwise I don't think I'd have ever figured this out. As far as I can tell this only started happening with the last update. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it's the same behaviour.

I use greenify to hibernate it as soon as the screen goes off

I can't seem to get Commandr to respond from my Ok Google Commands to my Moto 360. Occasionally, a message will pop up on my phone upon invoking the Ok google command on my watch, saying "While watch is listening, you should speak to it". But saying any of the built-in commands to the watch does nothing on the phone. But saying it to the phone (even via Touchless controls) makes the command go through (i.e. turn off wifi).

Any help getting Android Wear to play nice? I installed Xposed framework and checked the box in Commandr, then it redirects me to the Accessibility settings to disable the Commandr Accessibility service, but when I disable it, Google Now on the phone no longer responds to the built in commands. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Have to thank the Commandr open source community for this update. I've been busy with school and sports, I'll hopefully get some more time soon...

Thanks to chylek:
- Tasker variable %commandr_text available for more complex tasker commands
- Fixes for recognition of subsequent commands
- Matched regex groups are transferred to Tasker as variables %commander_N
(where N is the group number)

Thanks to Daniel Quah (emansih):
- Added Twitter command

If you go into Google Now Settings > Voice, you may have something which has Google Now listen when the screen is off, but the phone is plugged in. But again this is Google Now, not Commandr. Commandr has an accessibility service that technically is always running (this causes for some weird battery stats reporting), but really it only runs when you enter a command into Google Now and then it stops when you exit Google Now.

I've been having issues with tasker commands, I have one set in tasker and when it's executed within tasker the command works fine but not with google now and commandr. I have tried recreating the task and reinstalling both app. I enabled the run log in tasker but when I issue the command in google now nothing gets triggered in tasker.

This is to control some lights with voice and it worked previously and then just stopped, at first google now had issues where after executing the command instead of exiting it would go back to listening hich still hapeens but now the commands don't even run. This all started a few weeks ago when google push an update.

Any help would be great.

Seriously no support? I can't get any tasker command to work via commandr., on the note 4. However the built in commands work fine. I know my tasker commands work since they run within tasker.

Quick update on progress on removing requirement of "note to self" for root uses...

This was implemented successfully using MohammadAG's Google Now API, but unfortunately it seems that this api has many bugs and has to be updated for the new version of Google Search. As soon as this is updated (he is on vacation right now), I will add this functionality :) For now, rolling back changes...
