When are you implementing the

"OK Google, Fetch Starbucks Venti Iced Coffee with Four Pumps of Vanilla and Skim Milk" command?
Only after they implement the ok Google fetch Starbucks ristretto solo Grande 6 pump classic whole milk 175 degrees extra foam double cup no sleeve latte...

Okay fixed it :D It seems that CM gallery doesn't support specifying a default orientation so that's kind of weird, but now the resolution is fixed...

I tried the most recently posted apk listed here, to see if the 'take a selfie' works now for my CM11 ROM, and it does.
Thanks for tweaking for CM users!

Just an fyi...for those that might be in the same boat....run the 'take a selfie' a few times to see if it works for you.

The first time it ran for me, it took over 5 seconds between opening the camera app and taking the photo.
Each time afterwards this was reduced to less than a second.
(not sure if it had to run once? or wasn't just a random hiccup at my end with other processes running)

Hi,

I just read for the first time about Commandr for GN and it sounds very exciting.
One question: Is it somehow possible to enable a kind of a spell mode in Google Now? Currently GN always tries to understand the context of the speech which is great but when dictating a message in some cases it would be very useful if you could switch to spell mode and spell an uncommon word/name.

Thanks

Quick Status Update

Hey guys, really sorry about the lack of updates , I've been super busy with college stuff... I just recently learned I'm done with testing, but I have 2 applications to finish before November 1st, then another one for December 1st. Then like 4 for January 1st and then a final one for March 15th. So I'm kind of slammed... Hopefully I'll get into my first choice and then I'll be free to ramp up development, but until then, I'll have to wait...

In the mean time feel free to check out one of my new app that will be coming out (hopefully soon, but realistically not so soon :( It's an alarm clock that uses live traffic data to allow for you to wakeup at the right time to get to a work/school/a new place you don't know the time for... Built at Hack the North www.hackthenorth.com

On that note, is anybody here interested in a Pebble app for Commandr? No voice control, but you would be able to control your device using the watch...

Hi, I've installed Commandr and tasker, everything is working fine (awesome app!). I was watching the XDA tv review and when the guy (Uncle Fester?) clicks on Tasker Commands he scrolls through A LOT of commands, did he manually create all of them?
Is there a way to download all tasker commands created for Commandr? I found the whatsapp one here, but I'm wondering if Uncle Fester got all his commands somewhere (which would make things a lot easier than creating each one by one).

Thanks in advance!

ps.: I've been creating some of my own since I wrote this, lots of fun! One I just can't make work is saying "play (song) by (artist)" using PowerAMP, and I can't find one that works anywhere. Has anyone succeeded?

Hello,

if I try to enable accessibility service in Android 5.0, I see warning that it will disable my lockscreen/encryption password. It is known bug (or maybe stupid "feature") in Android 5.0, see h**ps://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=79309. Can you please bring some alternative (for root users) without accessibility service (or "note to self" hack)?

Thank you :)

From what I can tell from that site. Isn't it not really an issue? It sounds like the warning is just worded poorly... The only root way of accomplishing this that I know of is through XPosed, which as I understand isn't working on lollipop yet...

It will really disable your lock screen/encryption password. Poor wording is only small secondary issue. You simply can't use lock screen password/PIN/pattern with any accessibility service enabled on Android 5 :(

Isn't there some other way than XPosed?

Seems to work almost fine, all commands i tried worked fine on testing exept GPS on and off they were unavailable for my device and couldnt unlock my keyguard by command from lockscreen. even root commands worked after granting SU access. Also noticed problem using xposed interaction, (installed GS API 1.4 and enabled then reboot) but if i tick on "Use Xposed" from Commandr settings it wont find my commands anymore, just searches them on google now... is it a bug or is there a workaround or something ? i would like to have that working because i already ordered my Smartwatch 3 :)

also i lose keyguard if i change accessibility setting on or off, buuut soft reboot solves it so nothing major.
Sony Z1 stock 4.4.4 .157 rooted and basic stuff u know :D

Otherwise a must have app thank you lots !!!

Does the lack of Xposed on Lollipop mean I can't get Commandr to work properly on android wear with my Lollipop AOSP Xperia Z? (by properly I mean without using 'note to self').

Thanks

Can you try uninstalling or clearing data? You can also try rebooting your phone... The system framework for accessibility services can act weirdly on app updates...

Great app. I love the integration with Tasker. I had to try it after watching your video. Seems our voices are similar. Every time you said "OK Google" in the video it would pause and Google Now would popup!

    - Fix issues with flashlight command and google play music playlist command

Quick update on progress on removing requirement of "note to self" for root uses...

This was implemented successfully using MohammadAG's Google Now API, but unfortunately it seems that this api has many bugs and has to be updated for the new version of Google Search. As soon as this is updated (he is on vacation right now), I will add this functionality :) For now, rolling back changes...
