I installed this on my rooted LG G4 H810 with Lollipop 5.1.1, and I'm not able to use it. It opens, I get a black screen, then a message saying "Unfortunately Music has stopped". Can anyone help? I really love this music player and would love to replace the LG G4 default app with this.

I don't see any problem. do you have the same app before? Can you try to clear data first in the setting/application manager/app info?

I downloaded the apk file from your link to my downloads folder, then I opened ES File explorer, tapped the apk and installed it. I went to open it and then got that black screen/crash issue. Do I need to disable my LG's stock music player or install the apk in a different way? I saw a couple of other posts saying that the apk might have to be signed first, or installed as a system app?

This one doesn't work at all =( It says Application Not Installed. It's weird because Album works just fine. I don't know what's wrong. It's pretty frustrating...any ideas?

I have it allowed to install apps from unknown developers and I have "verify apps" unchecked. What else do I need to do other than download and install? Do I need to move it to a specific folder? Change any permissions on the apk? Is this just not compatible with my phone?

Strange. It works fine on my galaxy note 3.
In general you don't need to do anything, just install as it is. I also have my samsung music app installed and I don't push to the system.
Maybe someone more expert can fix it.

Do you know of anyone installing it successfully on an LG G4? I saw a post a few back that said it didn't work on their G4 either. I uninstalled it after the black screen thing, and tried to reinstall but now it fails at the installation. So frustrating.

So, I decided to try to download and install all of the previous apk files and work my way backwards. The one that works on my G4 without any issues is 8.4.A.5.4. So strange. I wonder why the older ones work better?

I installed this apk on my LG G4 H818N device. It got installed normally but whenever i run the app it's giving me Unfortunately, the app has stopped error!
How to fix this?

I'm sorry, I don't know. Looks like this app cannot work in LG devices. maybe LG devices handle music library differently.
