guys, any luck with getting this to work with LG devices? i'm on the g pro 2, and i can't get this to work at all (using stock 5.0.1 rom, D83820d TW). i've read some of the posts about how the older versions work and what not, but that's walkman isn't it? or is it music? i hate how walkman doesn't have the previous track option on lollipop (this used to work brilliant on cm12 on my optimus g though...)

Like I said, I couldn't install either of the 2 apks that Ben ling and u provided
In any case I'm still using the older version 9.0.XXX is there any way to set it such that when I launch the app it goes straight into the playlists?

i tried your link @omikron20, and i also tried walkman's latest and semi latest apk's (the second last was apparently confirmed working for the G2). sadly, none of them are working. i even have selinux to permissive and still nothing.

I don't know how can I help you guys. For me is working without any mod and root. Just install as normal apk. I install it to on cm 12.1 and working to.

Turns out you need to uninstall the previous Music apk..
Then try to install apk in @omikron20 link

Yes you must uninstall older app. I don't know you have old version.

Previous versions suggested in the links work on my Note 3 running stock Touchwiz lollipop =D

Only thing that bothers me is the BETA tag on the top right xD other than that they work perfectly =)

Is there a way to remove the tag??
