I am running it from Play store on my stock Z5 and on rooted Lineage OS on Pixel 4a.

For some reason, on the Z5 i have the Media server option over DLNA, while the Pixel 4a does not have it.

Also, i cant find the option anymore, for force metadata cover recheck.

LOL. Xperia Z5 firmware has extra files that your Pixel 4a don't. You should know that.

Well, duh, probably it does.
But considering that both phones support DLNA, i am trying to see, if the issue is with the application or something else. And maybe get that extra functionality working as well.

And does anyone remember, which version of the Music app still had the "Check songs for cover" or whatever it was called?

And in general, the album covers are barely working, i get covers on about 1/4 of the music i have, despite having proper song title + artist name + album name. Is it possible to have the metadata provider changed?

The 9.4.8.A.0.13 worked fine on my Redmi 5 Plus running PE A11 I install the app just like usual without zipsigner.
I also tried different song and no problem, noice!!
