Charge Monitor shows graphs of the charging current, battery temperature, capacity and voltage.
Gives you the possibility to compare the charging current of different chargers and cables.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Thanks a lot for all your replies!!

invert the charging current, as some devices it appears an negative value when charging.

    • absolute value of the current
      add autorefresh
display cpu load and cpu temperature
the top bar in settings should be thinner
I've inverted the current if it's negative, let me know what you think.
Autorefresh added in the graph and the history.
cpu info in the graph, maybe some day......
In the new version, have a look at the log, this has a Material guidelines toolbar height and I don't like it, do you? The main screen has the tabbar under the toolbar and I like the second screen to have the same hight.

I really want to know how long it takes my phone to be fully charged :).
The time it takes for the battery to reach the full state is now visible in the graph (full apparently is not the same as 100%) But not with the previous data, you'll need to charge it to full to see it.

on history screen when I'll click on history of charging nothing happens
Thanks for reporting, should be fixed now

Using the Google Pixel XL on Project Fi. Charged about 20 minutes.
Would you mind checking if the temperature line fits on the screen in the new version?

Please add an option to hide all notifications, more specifically the status bar icon and lock screen notification while charging.
I'm sorry, but the app can't work in the background without notification, as far as I know.
Looking at the graph you posted, something seems to be wrong; the current is always 0.
Could you please install the new version, delete the data of the app (this will also delete your charge history) and charge for 20% and then send me the log from the settings in the app? So I can see what's going wrong.

discharging as well? I would love that so much, especially if you do build in export capability.
I really like that it can measure the consumption, are you planning to also add a graph for that
It depends on the phone of course, but in general android does a decent job at reporting battery usage. There's next to zero charging info though.
Also there are some complications if you want to monitor discharging, the biggest one is using a lot of battery. That would be funny, a battery app that uses a lot of battery!! If you're charging your phone, it doesn't go into deep sleep, so it's on but with the screen off, so there's no problem to read and save data, the app is not waking up the phone.
BUT yeah I'd like to...so maybe some day

    @jmarcosk @cmglng
Yes you're correct, Android 8 won't let the app know that you plug in or unplug the device.
I'm working on a solution .....coming soon

It would be good if the timer stop after battery is fully charged.
