Has anyone succeeded in using an older Album version, which has targeted build for Android 9 - for example version 9.8.A.1.2, on Android 11? Using Lineage OS, with root perms, but it simply crashes on launch, when installed directly from the phone.

If possible, i would like to use a version, which still has the Geo tag and the Rotate functions. Sony butchered a perfectly good application, and the 9.9.A.0.20 is just another generic gallery application now.

Here's a version that works (choose the one without "ROM")

People, this build is working. Follow instructions (Working on Lineage OS 17.1)

Edit: this release can't play videos, everything else is working.

Edit 2: you must reboot the phone in order to get videos working, I don't know why.

Seems like not to be working anymore, so you definitely will need another app for this, e.g. Google Photos
