Try downloading the files again. The names are the same but I change the files a couple of days ago. The previous files had problems with the permission but it's fixed now as far as I knowHas anyone gotten this to work with stock nexus 5? It works on another ROM but can't get permissions on rooted stock.tried zip and apk.

Do you have a superuser app installed? Otherwise it might be that the ROM is missing needed file, make a logcat if you canThose are the ones I tried but will give it another go.
Edit: tried both zip and apk again with different kernel as well and still no go.

Do you have busybox installed on the stock ROM? I have a huge project due so I can't look in more detail.Just flashed it on slimkat as well with no issues so it must be something missing in the stock rom.

You should be able to get OmniSwitch using open delta or flashing a newer version of the ROMi actually have omnirom installed, so was expecting omnirom to work, but I keep getting an error when try to start t
Omniswitch start failed
Failed to gain system permissions
The app is under /system/priv-app with permissions -rw-r--r-- & owned by root:root
I have tried flushing data from this app, but it made no difference. I did at one point have omniswitch working, but have gone through many rom updates since then (mostly with opendelta)
Any ideas?
The .zip here worked -- but I had indeed already been updating my rom, in fact I was using last night's build -- I'm on nightlies for n8010You should be able to get OmniSwitch using open delta or flashing a newer version of the ROM
Any idea when this is coming? I like how OmniSwitch works, but I do not like the side-sweep activation; it would be awesome if we could use the standard recent apps button to view OmniSwitchA few of the things that are already on the TODO list are:
- allow using as a replacement of the AOSP recents view
Works fine on Nexus 5 with SlimKat.
Cannot figure out how to open recent apps from navigation bar (or from shortcut) instead of swiping.
In the OmniSwitch February announcement on the OmniROM blog, the following was written:

It should work. You can swipe a app icon up/down to close itDoes this work with beanstalk ROM? And can you close apps ?
