Glass is a set of vision-based computing capabilities that allows your smartphone to understand what is in a photo. For instance, point your phone at an object and Glass will tell you what it is!

More
This advanced Augmented Reality tool can recognise whatever you’re looking at and offer any essential information you require.

Impressive object recognition and real-time information

Glass goes a clear step by recognising a much greater range of objects, including natural stuff. Extra information such as breeds of dogs, flower species, etc would be implemented as the application grows.

Currently, Glass is available as a public BETA and can be downloaded from play store directly (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.achandratre.glass).

Please note that the results may not be 100% accurate as the application is in its initial stages of development.

Does it work with rooted devices? I tried with a lot of different pictures, I always get this error: 'There was a problem processing this image, please try a different image.' I'm using OnePlus 3T 6.0.1

getting problem processing image (anything I do) - nothing's been recognized
app crashes when the screen rotates in some places

HTC 10 (rooted) Sense-based ROM

Like the concept - I do hope you're planning on adding speech to it so a blind/legally person can snap a photo and it will tell them what they're looking at

If the object probability is less than 0.4, then it wont show up (for precision reasons). So try taking a clear picture.

Thanks for reporting the auto rotate bug, I will work on it asap

Isn't this what the TensorFlow's Android demo does? How is this different?

https://ci.tensorflow.org/job/tensorflow-master-android

This is entirely different, as they are using different model (Inception) and their computation procedure is offline. Also, Glass has a Region of Interest Box (the white rectangle)

So are you using the Google Cloud Vision API? I am curious about the tech that's behind this! :)

I'm using a custom API (Developed by Me) and it is running on my personal servers!
