Hi all. I've noticed that the domain boldbeast.com is not active, thus it is failing the subscription via gplay. Anyone know hot to bypass this problem? thank in advance.

Interesting. So the developer didn't even renew the domain. That's sad. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that there will be any way to work around that without reverse engineering the app.

You can enable the "Buttons on Float View" option, then disable the "Buttons on Notification" option. This is what you want.

Yes, saw that and looks like the developer has abandoned the project. Does not respond to email either though email does not bounce.* My "lifetime" license suddenly went dead and cannot be restored. Anyone have the inside story on boldbeast? Or does anyone have experience with another app that does the same thing? I'm still on my rooted Pixel 2 with A10...

*Correction, message to [email protected] was undeliverable.

Try "Recorder for Online Meeting and Live Streaming" on playstore, at least it worked for me

There is information in the application that if you turn on sound recording, the other party will not hear you. On Android, only one app has access to the microphone. Apparently the old version of Boldbeast works fine on rooted devices. I want to check it myself when I buy Pixel 2.

Maybe we can get the developer's personal email address from an historical WHOIS record.

Hi man it's the same for me but I don't understand shouldn't Google in this case remove the restriction? and make the subscription free for those who bought it? I don't get it what is the policy for apps we paid for (and it wasn't cheap) and the developer just disappears???
i mean we bought it from Google play not the developer directly. isn't Google responsible in these situations? it's super not okay...

did you try that or were you able to do that? it would be very helpful I mean... it's one thing that the developer doesn't want to continue a project it's his decision, but Google Play blocking us from using it when we already paid that's completely different thing!
(on my device it was working OK)
I mean this is ridiculous....
is this going to happen to all applications that we buy and sometime later the developer abandons it?

First time I downloaded it from playstore and bought licence from in-app purchase, then I downloaded the same app from developer site because google applyed same restriction, and that's was described on the boldbeast site, however tried to contact them mailing to [email protected] but till now no answer....... I found an old 13.2 version unlocked but at this point if someone can found the latest 14.9 unlocked will be better, at least to use the automatic recorder feature

Is the boldbeast the only genius who was able to create such an application that recorded voip calls?
He came up with a way, when his app simulated a bluetooth connection to record audio.
Here is the information about his application: https://techtrickz.com/download/bring-phone-call-recording-function-to-any-android-phone/
and

Maybe other brilliant developers can use this method?

Last year, I started working on attempting to build an Xposed module that would disable the audio recording restrictions and allow any recording app to be used to record everything. Unfortunately, I got stuck on some issues with it and life got in the way so I haven't been able to revisit it. Perhaps someone else would like to try picking up my work on it?

I created a thread asking for help with it, but nobody ever got back to me, unfortunately.

Glass to see many people still interested with internal recording. Hoping new solution for our case
Maybe you should ask in telegram xposed module?

Android VoIP Call Recording - Record video calls and voice calls from VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook Messenger, Google Voice, Google Hangouts, Google Duo, Line, WeChat, Skype, magicApp, Signal etc, is a feature many Android users are waiting for. But for so many years you still can't enjoy the feature, even if your Android phones are more and more powerful, even if you have rooted your phone.

Several recorders said they can record VoIP calls, but actually they can't. Why? Because Android allows only one app to use the microphone. As a result,
    • If the VoIP app (WhatsApp, Skype etc) is using the microphone, the recorder fails to start recording.
    • If the recorder is using the microphone, the caller can't hear your voice during the call because the VoIP app (WhatsApp, Skype etc) is denied to use the microphone.
For this reason all call recorders and all screen recorders can't record VoIP calls. You can test and confirm the fact yourself.

    Boldbeast VoIP Call Recorder
This app adds the VoIP Call Recording feature to your phone. It uses the microphone in a shared manner, so it can record VoIP calls successfully on all Android phones.
    • Record video calls and voice calls from VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Skype etc. Actually all VoIP apps on the market are supported.
    • Capture game playing, video playing, music playing, app using etc. Recordings can be saved as video+audio files or pure audio files. Audio is loseless because the data is copied directly from the system internal.
    • Audio can be saved in stereo or in mono.
    • Save all recordings locally in your phone memory or in the external SD card, so they are available at once after recording is ended.
    • Manage recordings, play back, rename, delete, share etc.

    Requirement
    • Android 5.0 up.
    • Root needed.

    Installation
    • Install the app from Google Play: Android VoIP Call Recorder
    • In the app tap "Root > Grant Root Access" to grant root access to this app.
    • On the screen you'll see the folder name in which the CallRecordingFix module is saved. Please use Magisk Manager to install the CallRecordingFix module from the folder.
    • Power off then power on the phone.
Now you can enjoy the new VoIP call recording feature on your Android phone.

Start / Stop / Pause / Resume Recording
When a VoIP call comes, the VoIP app (WhatsApp, Skype etc) doesn't notify this app, so this app can't start recording automatically because it doesn't know the event. You should tap the record button on the notification or on the float view to start recording. When the call is ended, this app doesn't know the event either, so you should tap the stop button to stop recording. During recording you can pause and resume recording if you want.

    Feedback
The app has just been released. Feedback, bug reports are welcomed.

Ok, the problem was solved after i made a call as other member mentioned before. But the problem I have now is that after having installed the module through magisk, when i open the app it says the module is not installed, but in magisk shows up as installed.
Thanks to AloneDevils for sending log files to me. I checked his log files, and found a minor bug that made the problem.
I have just released the new version of Boldbeast VoIP Recorder V1.2 in Google Play, the problem has been fixed. Please
    - update the app in your phone to V1.2.
    - tap "Root > Check CallRecordingFix" to generate the new CallRecordingFix module.
    - use Magisk Manager to install the new CallRecordingFix module.
    - reboot the phone.
Now it should work. In Magisk Manager please confirm the module is V2004.

Google Play may need time to publish the new version, so please wait a while if needed.

I DO installed the fix module through magisk, but when I check callrecordingfix in this app,it keep saying “you have not installed the call recording fix module yet". Please help. My device are pixel 2xl and pixel 3axl with Android 10 rooted via magisk.
Another user met the same problem on his Pixel 3a XL Android 10 phone, and he sent log files to me.
I'm checking the log files at this moment. It seems a file in CallRecordingFix is not executed when Magisk starts up. I'll fix it soon.

we need an boldbeast alternative for android 13+ without online license checks tbh, I do own legit license but when they went under this period of time I realised we need a permanent one pay option that doesnt have online checks smh
