Hi, an email(address) has found accidentally it's way into the spam folder. How can I remove the email address from the spam list?

Just move the message back to the inbox.

Please read this FAQ too:

https://github.com/M66B/FairEmail/blob/master/FAQ.md#user-content-faq92

All spam options in FairEmail should be seen as additional to the spam filter of the email server. They wouldn't be necessary if all providers offered proper working spam filters.

@M66B a suggestion that came to me while exploring Android 12 features. Enabling scrolling screenshot, if it adds value (it is enabled only for some apps like WhatsApp etc and not for browsers)

Hi Marcel!
First of all again, thank you so much for your amazing work and support! I'm a happy paying customer since a couple of years and I love your app.

I have a question which I haven't found an answer to yet.
Is it possible to hide the Account Name in the mailbox? I'll try to explain myself better. I have several email accounts set up, and I read emails from them separatly. I have assigned a different color for each one and in the main view I have the list of each account. So I click one, open the Incoming folder and read emails.
In the emails list header I have 4 rows: Sender, Object, Name of my account, Text Preview.

I would like to hide the line which contains the Name of My Account. I know which account I am in and I don't need to see it there, I think it just adds clutter to the view. I have looked around in settings but haven't found a way to do that.
Is it possible?

Dank je wel!

Hello, I have a relatively simple question: I have 3 accounts. 2 of them I want to periodicially sync once a day the other account I want to periodicially sync every 4 or 8 hours. How can I set this up?

I tried it the following way: Settings - Receive - When is put to "Every day". For the one account i wanted a higher checking freqeunce I went to the Settings - Main - Manual setup and account options - Accounts - Then the account which i wanted to have a sync every 4 hours - Advanced - Keep alive interval at for example 240 minutes. The setting at Edit properties for my Inbox at "synchronize" and "Check periodicially instead of continuous sync" - 1x240 minutes are activated. Unfortunately it does not work as I thought because it still syncs only every day. I looked around in the app and the FAQ but couldn't manage to get the correct solution for it.

My version is the current playstore version 1.1759.

There is no account name in the message header when viewing a conversation, only a folder name. The account name is the subtitle at the top.

If you mean the account/folder name in the message list, try to switch to compact mode via the three-dots menu.

Oh yes, sorry, that's what I meant!
I tried the compact view and it hides it correctly. The thing is that I prefer the normal view, I find it has better spacing in general. So, if that's the only way to hide the Account name in the message list, is it possible to edit compact view to have the same spacing as normal view?

Please change the keep alive interval back.

What you want is not possible. You can mix push messages and periodically checking for messages with one interval only. Different intervals for different accounts are not (yet?) possible.

You could do this with an automation app though, please see this FAQ:

You'll have to choose between normal and compact mode.

Whether the message was replied to, forwarded, classified, is snoozed, has attachments, the number of messages in the conversation thread, etc.
Nice! I still think that being able to hide it would give a more polished aspect to the mail list view, but it's not such a big deal and if it's useful for other purposes I'm fine with it.
Thank you for everything Marcel!
