What is DNS and how does it work?
The Domain Name System (DNS) resolves the names of Internet sites with their underlying IP addresses, adding efficiency and even security to the process.

Why use third party DNS?
Our Internet provider (ISP) offers us a preconfigured DNS server and when a government forces them to block access to certain pages, this is done by limiting access to DNS.

And it is precisely here that the use of alternative DNS comes into play.
