Thank you for this outstanding idea. I've always backed up my WiFi file manually, but its time consuming and I don't always remember, not to mention it doesn't include Bluetooth info. Will be giving this a try with my next ROM switch (aospa hopefully)

Not working for me with latest Magisk v13 Beta on OP3T OOS 4.1.6 Stock

Backed up WiFi, BT on OOS 4.1.6 while on Magisk v13 Beta, and restored all on Sultan's Unofficial LOS. Worked like a charm.

Bug Report:
My phone is rooted with magisk, but when i try to open this app an error comes: "This app needs root"

Look through the thread, been answered. I do wish it got a true fix, but if you install the PPSH Superuser app, and run pairs, you can give it permission. You don't have to do anything with the PPSH app.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Trying to transfer WiFi settings from old phone (galaxy S4 with lollipop) to new phone (LeEco pro 3 with 7.1.2). I am able to backup the WiFi settings on the old device and transfer the file to the new phone into the .pairs folder. I turn off the WiFi and then restore using the app and finally turn the WiFi back on but the phone shows no saved WiFi connections (and in fact it deletes the home and work WiFi that I have set up). When I open the .conf file in a text editor I can see that it shows the names of the routers my old phone had connections with. Am I missing something obvious?

Edit: I tried manually editing the .conf file to change the initial verbage in the file so that it matches what is created by my newer phone (vs the different info from my older phone). I assumed this wouldn't make a difference but tried anyway. Same result.

You can actually just edit the build.prop to get it working with magisk

At the very top, just add the word "modversion" without quotes

Seems the root is not detected but if I look in developers options it says root is granted for the application.
I have tried a clean install by uninstalling version 1.2 but the result is the same.
I am running a lineage ROM 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix on a Galaxy Mega rooted with the Lineage add-on and I have no root problem with the version 1.2 !
Same thing with my Galaxy S2 also running a lineage RR 7.1.2 and my Galaxy Note 10.1 also running a Lineage RR 7.1.2

It'll be related to some changes that I done in v1.3, I'll revert them and upload soon.

Thanks for the update: the root problem is fixed :good:
But if I try to backup to external storage it says: external storage not foundd ! :crying: and it does the backup in internal storage !
