Installed the app just fine. The drivers say they installed but after the reboot it doesn't think they are installed. Ideas?

Really? Did I hurt your feelings or something?

Good luck with getting Viper to run on your device. This isn't the correct forum, but you now know that.
That wasn't really nice , I am sure it happens to every one once In a while. Let's be courteous and share , you have nothing to loose in that [emoji4]

I do have it at permissive. You can't even run the app without that. It will force close constantly. I did read the whole OP and followed it.

I've tried other debug steps and can't seem to get the drivers to stick.

I did and got no response, everything is working after flashing this lolliviper zip, your zip replaces the audio_policy.conf which then breaks call recording, have tried to compare "stock" to your modified one but I am not smart enough to see what is causing the problem, with the lolliviper zip all I can see is that it comments out the deep buffer lines which seems to be enough to get v4a working with all streaming apps
The lolliviper zip works on OnePlus One?

Thanks!

I had no idea it was this easy to get running, I'd have put it off way less. No idea why the CM guys chose AudioFX over this, its bass boost doesn't even do anything aside from run into the compressor from subsonic(? I can't hear anything at least) frequencies...

1) For changing SELinux to Permissive mode permanently, run the following commands through Terminal Emulator:

su
mount -o remount,rw /system
mkdir /system/su.d
echo "#!/system/bin/sh" > /system/su.d/permissive.sh
echo "setenforce 0" > /system/su.d/permissive.sh
echo "0" > /sys/fs/selinux/enforce
chmod 755 /system/su.d/permissive.sh

In this way there is no need to install SeLinux mode changer application.

2) Installing Viper4Android cause screen casting via chromecast stop functioning on CM12.1. Anybody knows what is the source of this interference?

Doesn't seem to be working as of a few builds ago on CM marshmallow. The driver never stays installed. Prompts you to install after reboot. Tried moving Viper into system/priv-app but no luck there either :( :(

I'm on official CM OS 12.1 rooted. Can i flash this? Will it remove AudioFX as well? Also is the version included the latest viper mod.

Forgive me for being a noob but I'm new to this.

Attached is a screenshot of my current setup.
