From what I've read, with the recent AA update Google closed the loophole that AAAD used. And you can't downgrade the AA, it won't work anymore, they closed that loophole too.

Maybe the most recent version of AAAD would work, you just need to try, I personally don't want to bother anymore as I don't play with my head unit while driving anyways...

I use Fermata without AAAD but the root version

It installs as a module for LSposed - hence Magisk and LSposed are required

for those who can't make Fermata auto appear on their cars screen's, try to enable UNKNOWN SOURCE from android auto developer mode

you can enable developer mode by going to settings - android auto - press on the Version several times until developer mode gets enabled

then press on the 3 dots on the corner and enter developer mode and check on Unknown source

it works for me on my Samsung Galaxy note 10+
