Can we have the option to move the hotspot and the option to display where it is at all times, like Samsung's edge hotspot? Also, the option to only open the sidebar when recent apps is open
The hotspot placement configuration is indeed planned for some future version. And I am considering the appearance of sidebar only on recents app menu - have to figure out a place where it doesn't interrupt the recent apps screen.
For 24 sdk N
if ever can be port to MM

that would be great
Hi! MM doesn't officially support Multitasking, so I don't think it's worth adapting to the App when it's not standardized on MM.
Running 7.1.1 beta on my n6p. Seems like the mirror function broke in this version. Can't open 2 whatsapp, telegram or any other app
Forget about that.. Just now it started working again.
Awesome!
Really love this app!! Been using it for awhile now and decided to feature it in a video on my channel so more people can know about it.
You can check it out here if you'd like

Keep up the great work!!
Wow! That's amazing, I came across a couple of videos about the App, but yours demonstrated very well the Mirroring, thanks a lot! Keep subscribed to this thread, there will be some major updates in future.
Nice work! It works fine on my Nexus 5X. I used it for a few minutes. But I don't understand how to choose on which side to open the new app from the drawer while in split screen, I think it would be better if you can click to choose. And I don't see how to change the app in the first window. On my phone Chrome cannot be mirrored either.
Actually I came upon you App because I was also searching for a VR application.
I also think that we can take a bigger advantage of the high resolution Smartphone screens. Unfortunately virtual reality is still under development and they are almost no apps for that. And it seems like Google is going to concentrate on daydream and leave devices like nexus behind.
So i also think that it would be awesome to have a simple app mirroring the same window in order to use virtual reality (for example with Google cardboard) with all the apps out there. It won't be a high performance solution but it is better than nothing. Atleast you wouldn't have to stare on a small smartphone screen and holding it all the time or sitting on a desk. Of course you would need some kind of input device to operate.
Nonetheless thanks for the app!
You're welcome!
Ability to choose which side the new App launches would require a lot of workaround, will check the feasibility later.
And about VR, I am not able to visualize how mirroring would help. Could you please mention a specific use case with details?
I saw the topic's header image and I was excited.
Then I saw what this app actually does and I was disappointed.
You might want to change the image to something that more closely resembles your app's function.
Hi! What did you think the App does based on the App's Icon? The Icon is supposed to indicate running two instances of SAME app, parallel. Let me know your suggestions.
Installed and running on Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000...:good:
:good:
Recently got Nougat, so I tried this out. Got some suggestions to improve interaction:
* Create QS tiles and shortcuts (for Tasker, Pie Control etc) for the sidebar options - for those that don't want the overlay
* Mirror button should automatically mirror the upper app instead of asking me to pick an app
* Consider "integrating" (overlay toolbar) it to stock Recents view, I think that could be more useful and relevant than a sidebar.
Overall seems like this app has some potential, if development continues
Thank you for the suggestions, and I do plan to continue development.
#1 QS tile would be nice indeed, but at the moment I want to create a standardized default way to access the tools (mirroring, launcher etc.) Tiles and other ways to access would be optional and additional based on an individual user preference. Want some standard way to represent the App's usage.
#2 Again it won't be a standard feature, for example on a tablet with multiple windows open, it would be hard to determine which window to mirror. Again, may be as an additional feature in future.
#3 I agree with that, infact I have thought about it way before the development began, but again 'standardization'. I can't find a suitable place to put the tools on recent Apps window - One Plus ROMs have clear all button at bottom, standard Android has at top, putting at either place may obstruct views, and then putting on side may ruin the look of the recent apps page, etc.
Still brainstorming on the idea.
This app is awesome!
@jagan2, if you have a Reddit account, I think you should try posting this on r/Android. Those people would love this!

I don't have an active account, will not let me post it. Feel free to share through your account. Thanks!
Hi is there a way to get an ad free version of the app? The ad in the built in app drawer is bugging me to no end =\
Thanks
I understand, please bare with this initial versions. There will be options soon.
@jagan2: Why it does use Google Play Services (and also GCM)?
Can we have a Google free app?
They are used to run the Ads, and in future (MAY BE) to send remote configuration update, plus direct communication from the dev (me) as a notification in your phone. Cheers!
