Uninstall and re-install the latest version.Incognito worked for a while but is now failing as well.
Revanced app keeps buffering and not loading at all after 40 seconds in to any video. Any fixes?
Worked idd, I was on the version of yesterday still (which worked yesterday evening perfectly).
New version in incognito is working again.

Yes but i don't want to use a new account since it's a very old account. And incognito mode is not convenient.
None. If you're logged into your account, you should see it under Library.
I don't see it when logged in. The revanced extended works but I hate that dumb icon that it has.
I think a lot of users don't "want" to do that. So you have to live with the issues until (or if at all) a fix occurs.
Btw, there are other YouTube alternatives.
You know that you can change the icon?
Blue, Red,Revancify or the original YT logo.(What a problem....)
Btw, If you use any kind of adblocker whitelist "s.youtube.com". Often that's the problem when not getting a history.

I installed from revanced.io 3 days ago (website looks too legit and I fell for that). I downloaded the apk for basic version (j-hc for revanced apk and inotia00 for microg).
I know it is unsafe and I have uninstalled the app right now after realizing this. Changed my pw, added 2FA and logout from other devices.
Am I safe now? I am not sure if I should reset my phone but that seems too much work / going too far.

I'm not sure, I tried a few things already but can't get it to show my playlists. Maybe I'm doing something else wrong
J-hc (known here as @scrubjay55 ) developes the official magisk module (see OP) so his APK's should be legit too.
The downside is that you can't be sure if the ones on revanced.io are the same.
Anyway, you should be safe now.
As @Wolfcity said j-hc apks and modules from GitHub should be safe. So if you wanna use these, use directly from GitHub and not from that site.
Revanced io mostly have redirection links but extended seems they built it themselves or idk from where they get. I lost the count how many times the changed things over there and also I don't care much.
My suggestion is to not use that website.

Tbh, the official revanced icon is super ugly that's why I use stock icon on official revanced apk. Extended it's good however I asked ppl if they want to stock youtube icon and they said no and to keep the extended icon.
However if you built urself you can select any icon you want from the manager.
If you are using adblocker whitelist "s.youtube.com" as wolficity said or disable adblocker. Do you use any dns like adguard etc?

I use the "default" - "recommended" patches and I excluded only what I wrote in the info of each app in post #2.
Patches Used: All Recommended, except Custom Branding (because it has ugly icon), Debugging, Premium Heading.
If you think they should be included in the default selection button or they missed them by mistake in the recent versions, open an issue on the GitHub of ReVanced or contact them in their Discord.
However, I patched it again included the patches: "export-all-activities" and "remove-player-button-background". Check Android File Host here or post #2 the .zip with date (28-05-2023) and let me know.2
The reason why Vanced took a DMCA Takedown was because of the icon as far as I know.
Also, I just use what the patches have, I am not gonna mess to change the icons to something different.

Why if other of us who use RV for almost a year or so like the new RV icon they put to the source on GitHub?

As I said Instagram has issue with the latest patches so that's why it's failed. It's already reported to ReVanced Team. -

For users who want a stable "ReVanced Extended" magisk module:
I forked the repo of J-hc (in fact I made a new fork right now) who only builds "Revanced" modules but he provides a good and stable module, see the following features:
- Doesnt require a reboot after flashing
- Doesnt fail to mount
- Reports errors when they happen
- Supports kernelsu
- Has more checks for possible incompatibilities
- Written in clean bash
This is better than some of the forks of the ReVanced Extended modules you'll find on GitHub.
So this is ReVanced Extended in a stable module for rooted users.
I also build the corresponding APK for both, rooted and non rooted users.
For unrooted devices don't forget to install Vanced MicroG
or the new mMicroG by Inotia00!
You get daily updates in magisk (I may change this in the future).
if there are needs for other APK's (YT Music or else) there'll be no problem to build them too.
So with the permission of @Retrial, here's an alternative to the existing RVEX magisk modules.
The APK's should be almost similar to the ones by @Retrial so you can stay with his ones.
As mine are signed with a different key stay with the one or the other to be able to update!

Nothing is outdated. Everything is up to date. Other apks beside youtube getting update when needed. For example if new patches doesn't have anything about twitter, reddit etc. i will not patch them again for no reason.8

If you have search history with words you never searched, and also have history off, calm down, it's not a malware. Extended updates may slow down from my side unless it's something "critical" (perhaps weekly schedule). If you didn't noticed the last 3 updates released into a single day, with the latest late at night that's why I uploaded now. If you don't have anything else to do than patching 3 times a day with hotfixes on fixes, feel free to built by yourself with the detailed guide at OP. Also some of the users are ungrateful.
This doesn't mean I stop to provide my ready apks, I will continue just in more meaningful way.
My opinion is, activity by inotia00 is a good thing, untested multiple everyday releases don't have any sense tho. A beta repo so any user who want to test and patch with these "beta patches" before merged to the "stable" may be one solution.
