May I request a feature on revanced?
When you play YouTube live, you see a live chat
Old version YouTube app had time stamp on every message, but it's removed on 17.08.xx and later version
Is it possible to add an option to toggle?
The message timestamp is always shown on tablet regardless version
This function is a must in order to track time message sent

You need to disable the system version of YTMusic if you want or need to use an older version.
You can do it with Magisk by replacing it with zero byte file(s) on boot.
The preinstalled version can not be loaded so, the user installed version will be used.
I did this in the past for YouTube, someone asked me to make a YouTube Music version a few months ago.
Replace System YouTube Music - [github] - LinkLooks like it should still work for Android 14 Beta.

A few weeks ago, I updated YTMusic to v5.55.53 using inotia00's patches.
So you could also update the revanced version you are running?

Using ANY Android apps on new Android versions IS TROUBLE unless and until they are updated (and Google likes it that way)...11
Not installed for this user - but is it installed on the system?
Ie, if you had eg YT pre-installed by your ROM as a system app and by pm command(s) you disabled or uninstalled for this user - but it is still installed on the system, then it doesn't matter if it is not installed for this user - it is still installed on the system. And when you try to install YT RV root version, Android recognizes that another version of the same app (same package name) is already installed and doesn't allow to downgrade, corresponding to the system pre-installed YT app
Use YT RV non-root or if using root version make sure that YT RV you are installing is newer version than the pre-installed one, or first properly debloat (not by pm commands) the pre-installed YT version if it is newer than than the YT RV
Since YT RV Ext is on hold for some time, might be that you have a problem here - YT RV Ext root version is like two months old. You can try YT RV not Ext, it should correspond to the newer YT app version (I don't use not Ext, don't know its version number)
Eg, my YT RV Ext is 18.17.43 but the latest YT official is 18.22.36 or so.
You cannot have pre-installed com.google.android.youtube (same package name) v18.22, and then to install v18.17 just for your user (no matter if it is user 0 or user 999)

If you are talking about YT Music - latest official is v6.05 51 or so, latest YT Music RV Ext (root) is v6.01.51, but it's the same package name com.google android.apps.youtube.music and again, downgrading corresponding to the newer system version would not work no matter 'if for a different user' -

Nothing is outdated. Everything is up to date. Other apks beside youtube getting update when needed. For example if new patches doesn't have anything about twitter, reddit etc. i will not patch them again for no reason.8
Not necessarily. ReVanced is open source code. Anybody can take, build and distribute. But you never know is it exactly the same code as from ReVanced or they added/changed something
And people care about, since if they don't provide the source for the apps they distribute, you never know what their code maybe additionally does on your phone (ppl can trust when there is a source or trusted store to download from)
ReVanced is popular. For some (who don't know better) that's just a way to earn clicks to their sites if they put Revanced downloads. But again, you never know what's (more) in the binary they distribute7ReVanced Extended Update:

If you have search history with words you never searched, and also have history off, calm down, it's not a malware. These are trending searches which appears also in official youtube app. So seems google forcing you to use history otherwise it will show you these trending searches. Check here for more infos.

Extended updates may slow down from my side unless it's something "critical" (perhaps weekly schedule). If you didn't noticed the last 3 updates released into a single day, with the latest late at night that's why I uploaded now. If you don't have anything else to do than patching 3 times a day with hotfixes on fixes, feel free to built by yourself with the detailed guide at OP. Also some of the users are ungrateful.
This doesn't mean I stop to provide my ready apks, I will continue just in more meaningful way.
My opinion is, activity by inotia00 is a good thing, untested multiple everyday releases don't have any sense tho. A beta repo so any user who want to test and patch with these "beta patches" before merged to the "stable" may be one solution.
