I don't have a

I don't have an adb folder in /data. I think that must be an Android 10/11 thing. My issue is on my Android 9 rom.

The problem has to be with the latest Magisk update..
No, I have the /data/adb folder on my oreo device, running the latesst stable. NB: /data/adb is a standard android thing even before you install magisk. /data/adb/magisk (and a few others) is a magisk thing.

Hi guys, for information, i'm on Poco F1 Arrow OS v10 (Android 10) with Magisk 21.2 + V4A 2.7.2.1 and work fine.
Tested on Miui 12 and RR (both Android 10) works fine too.
On Mi9T Pro Bliss Rom Android 10 works fine too.
Thanks.

Since the latest Magisk update this stopped working for me.. I reinstalled the newest version a bunch of times and it just won't start. I can only think of the Magisk update, nothing else changed within this phone.

I really hate how Viper4android is the most valuable app I have and the one that can suddenly just stop working. I guess I will get this damn thing to work some days later.
Yes, V4A is valuable for me too.
You tryed flash kernel separated from zackptg5 or Audio Compatible Patch or Selinux Permisseve or downgrade from Magisk...

Good luck.

I dont know how or when I found it, but I used this zip in magisk, on my pixel 4a running Android 11. I am sure I must of got it somewhere off here, but when I search for it, I cant find it to give attribution to who posted it first.

ViperFX_Android11.zip

The only thing I changed (because I can) is that I switched it to boot SELinux Enforcing and it still works. The existing ZIP forces it to boot permissive
Thanks to you for providing this module and thanks to the original author, whoever that may be :) It works perfectly on a Pixel 5 with Magisk 21.2. No need to install drivers after first launch and then reboot again, it instantly works! And the best: it is Viper4Android v.2.7.1.6, so the old UI with the different output sources in the bottom bar and imho better UX than v2.7.2.1.

Hi, for OnePlus 8T OS 11
all i had to do is:
Using latest build of magisk 21.3
i have installed module: Audio Modification Library
Reboot!
Then install Viper4android module in Magisk
Reboot.
Open the App build v2.7.2.1
Give ROOT access, and install driver!
Device will reboot!
Open the app, go to settings, and enable Legacy Mode!
Press the driver icon and you will see that it's working!
Enable master switch set your settings and enjoy music!

No need for ANY other things!!!
Do not uninstall things in ROM, do not put any files in android/data/
No need to switch Selinux to permissive!

Thanks to Devs, i can enjoy music with my new monster phone! :)

Turning SE Linux permissive worked.

Now Legacy Mode works.

Another one here that updated Magisk and lost V4A.

If I check Legacy Mode it mutes for 2 seconds then sound come back with no changes.

Someone with better knowledge should look into this issue so we don't keep guessing and messing with our phones!

This worked on my Android 9 rom too, but I had to reboot at the end one more time. Fucking hell finally, thanks man.
