You didn't mention your device. The idea is, though, to test the free version first, then buy premium when you're satisfied. Did it work on the free version? Look for contact details on the Play Store page to ask for a refund if needed.

Hey, I have a Z Fold 3 and I noticed (late at night) that when NotifyBuddy is active ('led' light on) my AMOLED screen is very lightly on, as in the whole screen is grayish, just like when an LCD has his backlight on and displays black. Does anyone get that too ?

Also to me it did it by disabling the Edge Panel has stopped.

Hey, is there a way to disable the text and logo shown when fingerprint is enabled? Way too much text that could cause a burn in.

There's a problem with this for me too. You have to disable the charging LED. Otherwise it will not work for notification.

Also, I would like some response from the dev before I buy. It seems like he abandoned this app. The edge and buddy are by far the most potentially amazing app on this area. I would love to support further development.

I really miss the Moto Display. There were absolutely no settings in that app and worked perfectly. This app is the one that mostly resembles that. It's really a great app.

I would add to the edge multiple apps to notification, instead of showing one by one.

I would add the buddy the fix for charging light, and specially the ability to center notifications on the middle of the screen. Also, maybe touching the icon to open the app. That would be great.

This app would be very good if it didn't eat up the battery with tremendous force. I have apps that work in the background, but they don't affect battery consumption. The phone goes into a deep sleep when the screen is turned off. This app does not let the phone sleep at all. Why is it needed at all then?

I have a Oneplus 7T running Android 11. I installed this app, and when I use the test button in the app it seems work as expected. It will work as expected exactly once without a reboot. After the second notification comes in the phone turns on the whole screen, and then times out in the normal fashion . No notification dot/led appears at all after the first time. :-(

I have tried the force enable option, but that didn't seem to make any difference.
Can anyone help with this, or suggest another app that works like this?
I want it to work, but if I only get a notification once per boot cycle I am going to have to try something else.

Installed this app yesterday and it seems to be working good so far. I have a Realme GT ME. I have few suggestions:
1. Please add possibility to precisely move notification light - vertical and horizontal sliders for example. Right now it is very hard to place notification light where you want it, around the front camera for example
2. When you have single notification for all apps, but individual color you have color changing for every app on by one if you have several notifications. Maybe you could make some kind of color segments on a single say circle? For example you get notification from one app and you see blue ring, you receive notification from another app and circle have 2 color segments, you get third notification and there are 3 color segments etc.

Anyway, great app so far, not sure about the battery drain yet

upd 27/12: I noticed that screen is not 100% black when notification light appears, in complete darkness some grayish areas are seen which is not perfect for amoled screen. Hope this thing will be improved. Another thing is that when I activate underscreen fingerprint area its brightness is very high which is not good too (by default it is dimm and brightness increases when you touch it). As for the battery drain - it is noticeable but I managed to get 8 hours of screen-on time after 30 hours from charging which is good

Van egy Oneplus 7T-m, amelyen Android 11 fut. Telepítettem ezt az alkalmazást, és amikor az alkalmazás tesztgombját használom, úgy tűnik, hogy a várt módon működik. I installed the NotifyBuddy program yesterday on a Realme 8 pro device running Android 11 with the latest A 46 update. I set all the recommended configuration parameters and did a test. I have disabled AOD, of course.
The test indicator is working.
The program displays received messages, but does not show missed calls.
If a call comes after the message, the missed message indication disappears and there is no signal about a missed call. How to solve this problem?

Anyone getting the wrong colors on notifications? I have "Extract color from icon" enabled but they seem to be showing up mixed. I.e. WhatsApp with YouTube color, Reddit with Instagram's, and so on...

Edit: Deleting the app's data and re-setting everything solved for a while but now the problem is back.

I used this app with my s20 about 3 years ago with no issues after initial set up. Installed again yesterday, went through the set up process, checked, double checked, possibly triple checked I have necessary permissions and still no lock screen or charging notification from NotifyBuddy.

The test works. That's it though. I had this issue before and it's some toggle that is friggin BURIED in the settings I believe.

Has notification perms, no battery optimization, display over apps, not being put to sleep, what could it be?

Halp! This is a great app and I want to enjoy it again. This set up is... exhausting though. Anyways, thanks for the hardwork. Any help I s appreciated.

Please keep the conversation respectful and constructive. Your €1.3($1.5?) contribution does not entitle you to spread discredit about a developer or their work. If we encounter apps that obviously violate our terms we will step in but NotifyBuddy has a 4.0 rating with 1M+ installs on the Play Store. We should all keep in mind that the amount of work and love put into an application like this is tremendous. Not to mention the headaches it brings to devs to make something compatible with the hundreds of Android powered devices out there. In return of all the amazing development shared on these grounds (with all core functionality free!) we expect at least some humility and basic respect from our members towards our most invaluable assets: the developers.

Something not working? Do your research, provide logs, full technical details and anything that may be relevant to development. Stating something like "boohoo it doesn't work so fix it!" doesn't help anyone. We're a community, help one another. Detail any issue to the developer when needed. Thank you for your kindness.

Supporting a dev for their work does not entitle you to any service unless you're paying for something that literally states it should provide a service. Instead, you're paying for work already done and support development in general. That said, OP has been rather quiet but I still see recent online activity. You alright there, @HarshBoy99?

Hey, yeah I am alright. Thanks for asking. Sorry guys, I haven't been much active here. I try to read all the mails that come to me but some may have got missed. I try to work on the application on my spare time and look to improve the app. I apologise if the app releases are not frequent enough but I assure you the app is not abandoned. Hope you all can understand
