I've been planning on it, just very busy with my other apps these days
Yes, unless you toggle the apply on boot switch beside the setting
Tap "Flash" on the Dashboard, or select Flash Center from the navigation drawer. You'll see it on the Flash Center screen. Backup shortcuts are also listed on the Tools screen.
You didn't receive the updatenwith Flash Center yet. Nevertheless, kernel backups (and dtbo, dlkm and recovery, if supported) have always been on the Tools screen. The only new thing is custom kernel JSON configs
I definitely have root. I don't know what to say either - would love for this to be able to work for me. I have an old phone and I see the backup functions on it. Must be something with this phone, but I have no idea as to what it can be.
Flash Center is for Lollipop and later. The only thing you are missing is the custom kernel JSON thing. There are no custom kernels using that update mechanism on pre-Lollipop devices, so you don't need it.
Just to clarify - my phone is running Android 12.
I didn't realize there was an update, I will check out tomorrowThanks @flar2 for this great App and Kernel, keeps my Pixel 3a XL running long and smooth.
Unless the update px of my device ended, fortunately I just found out we got a September OTA and full firmware.
Just asking if you might be able to update the kernel for the bonito Pixel 3a XL in the near future...
Anyway thanks again and keep up the good work
Just got the new update from the Play Store. Liking the little visual differences, the graph behind the current frequencies, the little coloured wheels for battery and ram. Just finishes the look off a little bit better. Not noticed any functional differences yet but I've only had a quick glance through. Any specific functional differences between the new version and the previous?
