What are your settings? Show us screens. This isn't working for me. No notification ring around the front facing camera not sure why it won't work. I've rebooted.
I would like this answered as wellHi. I registered on the forum just to post this.
So gotten a new galaxy phone, I really hate that the LED notification is no longer a thing so I researched into a replacement. This app is very popular and recommended by a lot of people. There is one issue, which might be huge, or maybe it's completetly harmless, but it is HEAVILY overclocked.
I am overall always trying to stay safe with what I download on any of my devices. This app shows that it uses barely any permissions and doesn't send any internet data, great....However, there is this "AOD Manager". Certain features of the app require you to allow "Install from Unknown sources" on AODNotify which install this "AOD Manager" and we have 0 information what permissions or what the app actually does - how do we know it doesn't do anything malicious? To make things worse, I knew someone would have asked this in the 57 pages here, and people did, about 4 times this question was asked with same security conserns, and the developer always IGNORED the question - why? He usually answers other questions.
So can we have an answer? Why is AOD Manager not integrated into the main app, why is it seperate, why does it need to be installed from unknown sources and it's not either integrated in the main app or why it's not in playstore? Perhaps show the source code?
Agree - same problem. Cannot get the AOD to show at night while charging and there is a conflict with DND. Seems like the only way is to set the AOD to always on in aodNotify which is not preferable but still think there will be a conflict with DND. Ideally would like AOD to only show during notification AND be able to show AOD while charging (used to be referred to as night clock). Now you have to create a Bixby routine to turn on AOD while charging. When I select "follow DND" in the app, I have no AOD at all during DND.
I still want to see my clock, I just don't want the edge lighting for notifications during that time.
Can you please add some more settings to accomplish this?
I just checked my settings:I am sure thousand asked this question but I couldn't find "battery optimization" while searching this thread.
Question. Do I need to mess with the battery optimization for AODNotify? or anything with Samsung phones. I hope it doesn't get the process killed.
Hello,@Jawomo , after the latest update I lost pro version and features - I'm beta user

All Pro feature are available again. It seemed that they have been sticked as long as you do not change anything.
I posted in wrong place. Sorry. You need a notification light / LED for your Galaxy S10? With aodNotify you can easily add a notification light / LED directly to Samsung's Always On Display!
You can select different notification light styles and show the notification light around the camera cutout, screen edges or even simulate an notification LED dot in the statusbar of your Galaxy S10! As the notification light is integrated in Samsung's Always On Display it has minimal battery consumption and doesn't drain your battery like other apps which keep your phone awake!
If you don't need the Always On Display, the app can also activate the Always On Display (AOD) only on notifications or show the notification light / LED even without the Always On Display!
With the notification preview feature you can directly see if you have important notifications without waking your Galaxy S10!
MAIN FEATURES:
• Notification light / LED for Galaxy S20, S10, Note 10 and others!
• Low energy notification preview (android 10+)
• Activate Always On Display (AOD) only on notifications
• Charging / Low battery light / LED
MORE FEATURES:
• Notification light styles (around camera, screen, LED dot)
• Custom app / contact colors
• ECO animations to save battery
• Interval mode (on/off) to save battery
• Night times to save battery
• Minimal battery consumption
BATTERY USAGE PER HOUR ~:

• LED & INTERVAL - 1.5%
• LED & ECO - 1.5%
• LED & ECO & INTERVAL - 1.0%
• NOTIFICATION PREVIEW - 0.5%
• ALWAYS ON DISPLAY - 0.5%

NOTES:
• Samsung may block this app with future updates!
• Please check if the app is compatible before updating phone software or always on display!
• Although we never experienced any screen burn in issues on our test devices, we recommend to not keep the notification light / LED active for a long time! Use at you own responsibility!
