I couldn't login in the play store before I installed Gsmcore but now I get an error "check your connection and try again". Anyone ever got this?

Yes. Clear the cache of Download Manager and Google Play Store, reboot, and try opening play store again. If you get the error click retry. If you still get the error, clear the data of Google Play Store.

I don't have dl manager and ofc I did try to clean play store cache. Strange thing is that I was still logged after clearing cache and data

Looks like Google Now is missing /system/lib/libgoogle_recognizer_jni.so

Any chance you could upload that?

    I've made a flashable zip: http://link.basst.nl/ckccu
    The archive contains:

    PreBuiltGmsCore.apk (Google Play Services 4.0)
    Velvet.apk (Google Search)
    GoogleHome.apk (Launcher)
    Hangouts.apk
    GoogleCamera.apk
    GalleryGoogle.apk
    CalendarGoogle.apk
    DeskClockGoogle.apk
    LatinImeGoogle.apk (Keyboard)
    Gmail2.apk
    EmailGoogle.apk
    Exchange2Google.apk

It also contains some needed library files (.so)

I’ve installed it with ClockworkMod recovery on my (rooted) Galaxy Nexus.

If Google Now/Search is force closing on you...

Go to Settings > Language and Input > Language
And change it to "Espanol (Espana)" (Another language may work, but I tried it with this one)
Go back home, and try to make a search. If you don't know Spanish, say "me hablo espanol" (me hah-blow s-pan-yole)
Go back to Settings and change it back to English. See if this works.

    It fixed it for me.

Download the lib file here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46993343&postcount=59 and then navigate to system/lib and replace the existing file. Google search will force close and then when it comes back everything will work. The espanol thing stops working after reboot. This is permanent.
