If the mxplayer can play your files than you have a problem with your player ( not sure ) , maybe you changed the default player accidentally as well.

arkTube does not work on some airport networks for some reason: Initializing the download takes a very long time, then fails. But YouTube videos work on those networks. How can we work around this?

Try newpipe libretube or songbird app.

Hello, love arktube. If not too much to add, could you add some sanity checking mechanism so that the app can react if, for example, a video spends too much time at the same progress level. Or if it stays initializing forever.

Rarely, arktube will freeze like this where every video is stuck downloading but won't progress, and other downloads permanently initialize.

If the program could do something to react to this, like restart the video download or maybe even restart itself and resume.

This happens to me with playlists.

Having an issue with v9.0.1 detecting the donation package. It has run fine for years on my LG v60 (T-Mobile) and now it just doesn't detect the donation package at all.

It seems that the problem is with past livestreams only (I use them offline as podcasts).

I tried to download "normal" videos as mp3 and they work.

same here, though I'm having problems with "no live" streams also.

I use arkTube everyday for extracting audio from daily live streams. The problem definetly started yesterday.
