I hope that a new version will come soon
It will come, but I am just too busy right now. Please be patient :)

Any chance of this coming to the marketplace?

Sorry if this has been answered before.

sent from my Pinnacle Powered Captivate
Sorry, I wish I could publish it but unfortunately that's not possible. It uses things that are against the market place guidelines.

The app only updates the tile every 30 minutes, unless you tap it to launch the app, which then updates immediately. So after you plug in you may have to wait 1 to 29 minutes before the tile changes to charging.

The 30 minute rule is currently a limitation of the OS, but the dev has mentined he may try changing the update cycle time to every 10 minutes, but not sure what that will do for battery life. Actually have my phone running an overnight test right now with all background tasks (and radios) turned off. Tomorrow I will turn only Battery Meter on to get a sense of how much juice, if any, it is actually using.

cause i'm a huge fan of your app i have something to say to you so you maybe able to add it to this gr8 app...

1-add charging image for live tile...(when we connect it to zune or chagre it...) (/EDITED) i'm sorry...wrong suggestion...it has it now...tnx to nobnut for reminding(EDITED/)
2-add time remaining for live tile(not for the 1st tile...for that one that shows the battery with font...i mean this one...
...)(the one that show in setting>>battery saver...)

thats all for now...tnx in advance...

Yes i've noticed and i think it's better not to update to often, pitty though that it's limited by the OS... the live thing is kinda not live :)

And btw, nicer looking tiles would be nice to see... more colors :) and real like images...

Apps that are supported by an external server can update a tile almost continuously. Pro Sports Scores will update a sporting event on their tile every minute for example. And toast notification are sent to the phone instantly. But the background tasks are restricted to updating once every 30 minutes in order to preserve battery power.

Sure it would be great for the tile to update every minute, 24 hours a day. But if that's going to cost 10% of my battery, or more, do I really want that. Does anyone? More often than not, when I turn the phone on and check the tile, it is spot on or within 1-2% of actual. Close enough for me.

tnx for the new version..i'm looking forward for it...but one suggestion...(the 4 which is coming...)

make some theme for tile...i mean let the user select which color should this app tile be...
as you know if we choose blue accent the tile changes to blue...when we change accent to red it changes to red...but you know what???
if you add custom color for your app i'll be gr8...
let user choose which color the like...
for example...
the accent is red....but user likes this tile to be blue...so you make a option for this one so the user can change the tile color...
by this way we can make our phone full of color...and it'll be amazing..

I finally have some news:

I think I have some time to finish version 4 this weekend and while I am fixing the last things, if you want to translate the app, use my translation program. I'll put it in the first post.

Hi!

I'm not that good at this and this is new information for me (thanks).
But i'm with you when i comes to saving our batteries. I guess i'm spoiled with features and bling bling. :)

This is the only and the best battery app on WP7 so far.

In the new version you can choose between 10 and 30 minutes for the update interval. 30 is standard and it won't use much battery because it only runs for a short moment. If you choose 10 minutes it could use a little more, that's why 30 minutes is the default.
