I see that you are running skyraider, I just loaded up skyraider2.5 sense, and had this problem so I think it has to do with the rom, a reboot fixed it for me.

has anyone been able to get this to work with a password on your wireless connection? i put on a password today and it didnt work, took it off and worked

This is probably the greatest thing ever. You turn it on, type "adb connect <ipaddress>:<port>" (it shows it on the screen), then you can adb shell/push/pull into/to/from your phone without a USB cable!!! SWEET.

Edit: Got steady transfer rates at 6-700 KB/s, not bad!

Since I haven't rooted waiting for OTA upgrade, Do you think this will this work with 2.2 upgrade or will I still need to root?

It requires authenticated wifi connections, so it would work like anything else.

You must be connected prior to the app. The port also must not be blocked.

Well, then I will just have to root the new OS. I just don't want to have to root, unroot now and then root again later. (LAZY ;>))

Definitely a great app!
Just tested it out by sending the "bootanimation" command through adb shell, and then adb reboot. Everything worked well.
Very handy
