Hello everyone, I'm back with an app (beta) for you!

CellMapper displays advanced GSM/CDMA/UMTS/LTE/LTE-A cellular network information and can also record this data to allow you to contribute to our crowd-sourced coverage maps.
Link to website: https://cellmapper.net

The Windows 10 Mobile version supports Live Upload, CSV upload is not possible.

Installation:
  1. Download the zip from the download link
  2. On your phone open and install the .cer certificate file
  3. On your phone open and install the appx file

Usage:
  • Install using the above guide or use Device Portal to deploy
  • Open the app, turn Record on (blue)
  • Run around the town with GPS on and CellMapper running
  • Turn upload on (blue), optionally log in (account), and wait for the datapoints to be uploaded.

I released a bugfix version 1.1.12.0 which fixes a bug found that causes the app to crash on some occasions when on foreground.

Could someone try these deployment steps please:
  1. Download the zip from the download link
  2. On your phone open and install the .cer certificate file
  3. On your phone open and install the appx file

There is a ticket open for the high-contrast issue.

Did you enable Developer Mode on the device? If you do not, it will simply not install without any error messages.

This worked for my Lumia 640. It has not worked for the Lumia 635 but that is on a non-standard Win10 installation. My 635 is the 0.5 GB ram model so it shouldn't have Win10 anyway.

Thanks!

The app should install on 512MB RAM models too, though it will not work in the background well. You could try using the Device Portal to install, remember the dependencies too. Or alternatively deploy using Application Deployment that comes with the SDK.

You can change your provider on phone Settings -> Cellular & SIM -> SIM Settings -> Search Networks

Then select network where you like connect. Your phone calls, messages and mobile data not working but emergency calls working (2G/3G).
:) i dont mean that! I mean which antenna being used...
And also some networks support phone calls or such things of other network provider or operator. Roaming!

So you mean locking to a specific frequency band? On Lumia x50 devices you can open Edge and type the url mmo-ftdapp://test and use the Band Locking. Other Lumias may or may not have the diagnosis dial code enabled. You can try by entering ##3282# in the phone dialer.
