Hello. I have 2 questions.
1-) I bought the pro version and saw that there is no account opening event in the application. Is the pro account I bought registered directly in my
google play mail? So if I install the application on a new phone, how do I activate the pro version? If I download the application with which google play
mail I received the application, will the pro version be activated automatically?
2-) My second question is application error. I've set music track switching to one-tap actions for the "volume up and down" sections in the app, while I've
set the long press to volume up and down. It works fine when the screen is on. When the screen is off, I can change the songs with a single tap, and that's
fine. But when I long press, I cannot adjust the volume, and when I press long, it perceives it as if I press it alone and changes the song. If I double
tap then it turns up the sound but my double tap setting shows no action and I don't understand why it only happens on the lock screen. I looked at the
troubleshooting and all the settings in the application settings in detail, but I couldn't find a solution, please let me know.

Need some help- I work in an old folk's home where we use an android smart TV in the main living area. Residents aren't allowed to use the remote because they tend to steal and hide remotes. I have made a wall mounted usb button board that plugs into the tv and is recognized by button mapper. I want to make it so that pressing a button will play specific youtube playlists- is there any way to do this or do i need a different app?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to send ssh commands externally using a button?

For example, if I wanted to send an ssh command to a raspberry pi to run a script on pressing the volume button, is that possible and how?

Happy to purchase pro, I just wasn’t sure if it was doable - maybe via shell command?

Am I missing the instructions for this app to do its thing without having to "allow one-time access" every time the phone is rebooted? I thought I remembered there being a ADB command that made it permanent without rooting, but I can't find it anymore.

Hello, I'm trying Button Mapper Pro to remap the PTT button on my device (oukitel wp22), but it doesn't work correctly. I checked on Zello, the button works flawlessly! But I can't use Zello, I'm using PROPTT2 app, can you add PROPTT2 support similar to Zello ?

Since the developer can take money but not actually respond to questions, I thought I'd come here for help. Here's the situation.

Heard about this great app called button remover so downloaded it. Well it worked for about a half hour before just shutting off the actions of a few of the keys (mainly of concern, the OK circle). This corrupt mapping doesn't just affect the physical remote, but apps like the Philips TV and Google TV, same issue.


Shockingly, there is no hardware way to force a hard reset, so I'm screwed. I literally can do no more than move between icons.


I ran out of ideas but accomplishing any of the below things would be awesome:


- remotely uninstalling this ****ty app

- overwriting the OS with a clean version

- of course finding a way to navigate and select things on screen

- or any other ideas?


The dev is not even responding to emails and there doesn't seem to be a back door that I see. I would hate to return a 2 week old TV over this, but that seems to be where things are going

Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated!

Quite useful for customising my Android TV experience. Unfortunately I wasn't able to set up the biggest thing I was hoping for (being able to trigger the "display off" without having to go through a bunch of menus every time).

As far as I can tell I'd either need adb support or http POST support for that to work, and neither seem to be available through this app, or at least not currently. Was looking to implement one of the triggers listed here: https://github.com/eslavnov/pylips/issues/71

Guess I'll still use it to tweak a few other buttons that will be convenient.
