[App] bxActions - Remap the Bixby button on S8! single, double and long press!

i run the activate control mode.exe file and it tells me "Could not activate Control Mode! Is USB-debugging enabled on your phone? Do you have Samsung USB drives installed?"
i have usb debugging enabled, i have samsung usb drivers installed, ive deleted bxactions and the file on my phone and re installed and i still get the same problem??

Do you have any other usb phone drivers installed?
There are also some adb usb driver which might work.

Just the usual ones that install when I connect the phone. I downloaded a ADB USB driver from the net. Didn't seem to fix it

Yes, just unlock permisions with a PC

Hello,

I stumbled upon some weird behaviour of bixby voice.

Every time I reboot the phone, and I presss the bixby button the notification pops up, saying, that I need to grant permissions to bixby voice. This notification can't be disabled even from application settings. Ive tried disabling it, but it still says, that permission for notifications is granted @[email protected] I tried different approaches and it still buggers me..

I can only grant app permissions for bixby voice, and it stays ok, until next reboot... where I have to do the same, because this pesky notification still pop up. It's frustrating..

Any ideas? Please help...

BIXBY 2.0 WARNING:

Samsung does not allow remapping the Bixby button with Bixby 2.0 anymore!

e.g. present in Galaxy Note 9. Please do not update Bixby or firmware to Bixby 2.0!

Investigating possibilities atm.

Looks like Bixby Voice Wakeup eat some battery with bxActions (S9+, Pro version).
Is something wrong with selected options? Bixby Voice turned off in Bixby options.

Hey @Jawomo, the new UI is great!

I was wondering if enabling voice input was at all possible? I like the fact that with Bixby, if you hold the button, it will enable voice input and type so long as you hold it. Is it possible to do a similar thing to enable for Gboard or Swiftkey?

I can't for the life of me get Tasker tasks to work. Everything else works perfect, but bxactions won't talk to Tasker...

I can select task, but pressing the button does nothing.

- the tasks I select work from within Tasker
- the buttons work with all other functions
- I've completed the setup
- play store pro version 5.01

Please try to launch tasker task with, launch shortcut, tasker, ...

Total uninstall, reinstall and permissions via pc again worked. Doesn't always work while screen is off tho, but on lockscreen it works every time.

Dont know for sure, but should work.

Bixby Voice is the relevant app, and 2.0 is only available on Note 9 atm

I cannot do this because i will loose my warranty, can you make it work without the use of pc ? I am now using the package disabler pro and its kinds silly to have a useless button
