To defend MS a bit, the last two updates I've submitted on the hub certified and published in 4 days. The app hubs performance has improved as well.
I'm freaking PRAYING it will go through. The lovely App Hub made me resubmit 2 times..
1) Metadata update loop which continued for 2 weeks
2) Denied the update because the app is considered "adult content" due to music and I added the new marketplaces.. The Middle Eastern marketplaces is what got it denied
For as stressful as this is, I DID end up fixing a critical bug in playback that would have been present otherwise.
I'm hoping to know a status tomorrow on this. Crossing my fingers as only SOME people have been able to install the app on the MP and have it WORK.
Spoke too soon! Just got the e-mail that it passed. Update should be appearing soon!
Update just appeared for me (Although I had to go to the Marketplace and manually search for the app to get the update). I imagine the update notification will be appearing soon.
just went to the marketplace and it had the update waiting! works great, much smoother streaming than gooroovster! nice job!
btw, the play button, the text for it says "music playe" not "music player"... small thing but worth fixing in the next update!

Noticed that when you choose and artist start letter, the artists under that aren't in alphabetical order. Could have sworn it was a-z then alphabetical after that.

yeah I noticed that AFTER I submitted it. I changed the base 3 times to fix a playback issue and forgot to change the artist sorting back. Luckily another update will appearing next week to fix that and a few other annoyances.

Even with the new update, if I refresh playlist, eventually no music appears. If I log out, I can't log back in. I unsinstalled and reinstalled, and everything is fine. I'll see what happens next time I need new music added.
Yeah try that again. I've changed some of the database around since the first build that got pushed to the marketplace. That may be the issue. If not, I'm planning on pushing out a minor update this week.. I will do some extra testing and see if I can reproduce what you are running into.
New version being submitted today! Hopefully it will be approved in a few days rather than the norm.

Ahh that's what I get for not checking the thread in a few weeks. I made a large post from my phone which obviously never got posted and thought it did. I ran into an issue with the local caching that caused me to push back a week and do some more testing. I've since then fixed the issue and I put a submission in last night so you'll see the update this week

Just had to uninstall and reinstall due to not logging me in. This cured that problem but there seems to be a huge wait time for songs to start on 3g making it almost of no use.
Even over wifi its taking 15-20 secs to start playing the tune.
Any ideas?

Due to the lovely app hub taking an entire week to "test" then come back and tell me that it doesn't work on the 256 MB devices (although the emulator seemed to work great for me), I have to do some tweaks and get it right for those low memory devices.
Andymck, I fixed the slowness issue in this upcoming update.
